NATAL CARBINEER AT ISLAWANDA

TCS is proud to preview our all new Zulu War release: Natal Carbineers at Islawanda. The Carbineers were part of Col. Durnfords cavalry command sent from Rorkes Drift up to join Lord Chelmsford at Islawanda. During the first phase of the Zulu attack Durnford moved forward to screen elements of the 24th that were still assembling. It was during these opening moments of the battle that Durnfords hapless command was overwhelmed by the Zulu onslaught.

These four poses reflect the chaotic melee that so destroyed Durnfords command. TCS is devoted to the Zulu wars and will continue to add creative sets that continue to illustrate, in miniature, the Zulu campaign. In two short weeks all of CS8 will be up on our site available for pre-order. Sets ship the first week in November.

Brian I was not convinced by your first releases for the AZW, but boy now you are cooking.
Those guys are , and I rarely say things like this, must haves.
I am sure when the Lt wakes up this morning you will be hearing from him.
Well done.
Bring it on.
Durnford next

Well, I know what I'm getting as an early Christmas gift!!! :D These are great releases TCS! It just keeps getting better...Now we just need some Napoleonic Black Watch releases and a new Confederate unit as well!! ;)

Great animation!I am not by all means a uniform expert on the Zulu War but aren't the uniforms a little fancy for combat in the 1870's
Mark

Thanks Brian for replying to my request and rest assure they'll be making an appearance from my Land of The Zulus shortly after their arrival. The poses are outstanding and hopefully we'll see some of the Carbineers unmounted as well and Damian you were so right that Brian would hear from me shortly after seeing the figures and Marco55 the uniforms are correctly shown as worn as I'm sure my Aide de Camp will attest to .........The Lt.

As previewed on a previous thread.

Those Natal Carbineers are a beautiful Cavalry release, very well sculpted and animated. Congratulations Brian!
What's your room number in Chicago? I am going to stop by and have a serious look at your latest figures.
