Natal Carbineers New Release! (1 Viewer)

Zulu Daddy...

congrats on your new acquisitions...I think they are beautiful and I know you will put them to work...as far as your request for interchangeable steeds and riders...Brian seems pretty accomodating and open to suggestion for the future...you gotta like that attitude...

Bob...you got a good eye...I do see what you're saying...but overall...these figures are a WINNER!

ps...Joe...you probably wouldn't interchange the rider in the third picture (on the bucking mount) anyway...the other three...yes...good idea.

A homerun Brian...Guiseppi will give them the exposure they deserve.

Michael I'm sure Brian will be accommodating and as for the thrid photo it's featuring the horse falling down after being wounded either by gun shot or a spear trust and not bucking as shown.

Took four additional photos of the Carbineers and had to post them Brian they sure can come to life when photograph. For those of you who have a copy of Osprey' Men at Arms Zulu War-Volunteers, Irregualars & Auxiliaries you'll note that the Officer and Trooper appearing in colour plate A closely resembel the facial features those of the Officer and Trooper done by CS.

Zulu Daddy...I really like these figures...

nice pictures...I personally don't see too much about the horses behind or legs that bothers me...I think they look pretty proportionate.

Thanks, Lt., for your nice pics. - My brit. Cavalry is on the way from the States to Switzerland. Will be at monday in my house - help to protect their comrads against the Zulu Impi. - They looks so good! Thanks to CS for producing these figures and hope, Britains will add-on some fine horsemen of the 24th or Dunfords Cavalry! So much opinions! - Also Melville is on the way from GB, the special figure done for modelzone. That's what I've missed the last years: Cavalry!

Your welcome Hans in the mean time found two photos that may have appeared in the Illustrated London News.

I see you are having great joy with these new figures. I am enjoying your photos. Looking forward to the next round.

Nice shots Joe! Those are some cool figures, you must be in your glories with those guys?
I really like what CSC does with there figures and the action poses, they remind me of Conte figures but with better painting. There napoleonic line figures have me wanting to spend money I just don,t have right now.:(
Those figures go nice with the Britians figures, looks like they,ll match up nicely.

How many figures do you have in your Zulu War collection Joe?
Do you collect anything else?Great collection.
Mark

Thanks Tim they are nice figures and got one long, long way to go before coming any where near your collection of mounted figures in matte but it's a start. Mark I only collect figure of the Zulu War and between my plastic, metal glossy and matte sets and figure close to 500.

A little playtime with the Carbineers featuring Lieutenant Royston comes to the aid of a ranker of the 24th.
