NBA basketball...................... (3 Viewers)

There is really no humble way to say it, but the Warriors won because they were simply the better team.

On to the finals where it might go 7 games, but the Warriors will ultimately win.

Basketball is unique in that the majority of the time the better team wins in the playoffs. In the NFL the best team can have an off day and since it is one and done, there is no tomorrow. In the NHL a goalie can suddenly become a wall and carry an inferior team all the way. While in baseball a number 1 and 2 starter can win you a series even if your offense is struggling.

The Warriors take game 1 in very ho-hum fashion.

My bet is that is the way the rest of the series will go, pretty anti-climactic.

The Warriors take game two, a total domination from start to finish.

And Love got whacked in the coconut; knowing him, he's probably done for the finals.

What a massacre, the Cadavers had no shot tonight.

They have to win four of the next five to win the championship.

We'll see.......................

We'll see? Man, this thing is over. If the Cavs -- and they do look like cadavers -- win one game, that will be a heck of an upset.

Teams that get blown out and embarrassed tend to come back with a strong showing. I remember the Lakers getting absolutely massacred once in Boston on memorial day. It was a beating of epic proportions but they came back in the next game and won. And then took the series. he Cavs are not the Lakers from the 80s though. It looks more and more like LeBron is going the way of guys like Wilt. Greatest player of their generation but not on the kinds of teams good enough to win championships.

LeBron plays the march of the tomato cans in the East to get to the finals, then loses to superior teams from the West.

If he goes on to lose this series, he'll be 2-5 in the finals, really should be 1-6 were it not for an epic gag job by the Spurs in the 2013 finals.

They called him for traveling about three times last night; thank Christ someone finally noticed, he travels ALL THE TIME, but never gets called on it until last night.

Win on Wednesday Cleveland or that's all she wrote.......................

looking for a huge effort from the Cavs at home Wednesday...

they may lose...

but it won't be anywhere near a 30 point blowout...

At this point of the season, a loss is a loss. There are no moral victories and Lebron is not getting any younger.

Golden State's test -- and I think every great team needs to go through a test -- was against OKC. They faced defeat but managed to overcome it. In this series, they've set the tempo and I doubt they'll put the hammer down.

Golden State and OKC should have been the finals.......the two best teams!
GS has the superstars, the depth, the coach and momentum......LeBron can't carry Cleveland on his shoulders alone and if Love is out there's no chance.
I would be surprised if Cleveland wins more than one game.

Game 2 was just as ho-hum as game 1. As Warriors fan I am ecstatic as a basketball fan I am disappointed.

A couple of years ago during the Miami Heat days one of the analysts on ESPN said being the head coach of a LeBron team is the worst job in sports. If you lose it is your fault that you can't coach the team with LeBron as its center piece and if you win you get no credit because you are supposed to be winning considering LeBron is on your team.

not a sport in America enjoys home cooking like the NBA...

I think it's because the fans sit so close to the players...

their energy rubs off...

total domination in Game 3 so far...

a 63 point swing in the last 2 games...

I am glad that the Cavs finally won and might make it a series. Either way, Golden State will still win it.

No matter who has won, all three of the games so far have been pretty much unwatchable from a competitiveness stand point.

Jason...I agree...GS will win the title and the games have been non competitive by measure of a close score...

Golden State is pulling away in game 4, they will be up 3-1 soon.

Cleveland's win in game 3 was simply prolonging the inevitable.

Golden State got that clunker out of the way and are back to form, nailing a finals record 17 three pointers, they hit more 3's than 2's, just unreal, they can shoot lights out, that is for sure.

One win away from back to back titles, they easily rank as one of the greatest teams of all time...........
