Finding it hard to care who wins these games. Indiana seems like the best neutral pick as they are at least new to the playoff. Their QB also seems like a modest guy for someone who just won the Heisman. Quite a contrast to that QB from Vandy. I think Georgia is going to roll Ole Miss tonight and run the table but I hope I'm wrong.
Liking Indiana more and more they certainly appear to be the best prepared thus far. Hoping ole miss has some fire tonight.

Both of these games today sucked, totally non competitive as it gets.

Which harkens back to your comments about how 4 teams in the playoff is plenty, although that would have meant Indiana, tOSU, Texas Tech and Georgia, two of which are already out, one of which did not show up at all, the other was rusty as Hell.

Where is the blatant face mask? Do they want Georgia to come back?

I don't know what is better. Watching Kirby "Goober Pyle" choke away another season or knowing that Lame Kiffin bailed on a possible championship.

They're both pretty special, what a game, that QB for Ole Miss is something else, wow.

To go for it with the fake punt was somewhat questionable, to go for it inside your own 35 a second time was nuts, cost them the game, I don't get it at all, a boneheaded decision.

Ole Miss all the way to stick up Kiffin's backside.

Agree 100%. That said, I still want an official explanation on the missed facemask call which IMO , if called, it is 1st Down Ole Miss with 5Mins to go and driving. I don't think Georgia gets the ball back as I think Ole Miss would have either run out the clock to near nothing OR scored again and put the game away. And what about the Pass Interference calls on GA final drive. Ok, they were penalties, BUT, it was like that all night on both sides and they never called it til the 4th qtr. That stinks too. Finally, the last plays of the game were an official debacle. There was 0 secs on the clock when the backwards lateral hit the pylon, etc etc etc. It looked like the keystone cops of officiating.

At the end of the day, karma prevailed.

Poor Lame Kiffin. He bailed on a team that now has a legit chance to make the championship game. His assistants might win one before he does. Assuming he ever wins a NC which seems doubtful. I wonder if he pulls the carpet out from under Ole Miss and forces their coach to make a decision on coming to LSU.

Yeah, flag after flag on the last Georgia drive looked................"odd" to me, the missed facemask was brutal, how do you not see that?

That pooshow at the end was terrible too; that Georgia ended up with any shot at all was criminal.

And yes, karma did prevail.

Bye teams now 1-7.

Wow.

Hard to believe Lame Kiffin is still getting paid for every Ole Miss win in the playoffs. College football coaches must fall on the ground laughing at society. They get millions and bonuses while American kids are dumb as rocks because the education system is a shambles. You might think LSU learned a lesson after the Brian Kelly fiasco in which he walked away with over $50 million but I guess not.

"According to Front Office Sports, part of LSU’s deal to lure Kiffin away from Ole Miss was to pay his full bonus structure from his previous employer. Kiffin made $150,000 for the Rebels making the playoffs, which was raised to $250,000 when Ole Miss defeated Tulane in the first round.

Thursday night’s win over Georgia upped that bonus to $500,000 and a win over Miami in the semifinals will raise that figure to $750,000."

Meanwhile you have to wonder how long LSU is going to allow assistant coaches that are supposed to be recruiting on their behalf to continue to coach a rival in the playoffs.

Great to see Army and Navy win their bowl games.

No NIL, no transfers, no sitting out waiting to go to the NFL.

Just student athletes playing a game they love in exchange for a scholarship.

I don't know what is better. Watching Kirby "Goober Pyle" choke away another season or knowing that Lame Kiffin bailed on a possible championship.

“Goober” is the highest paid D1 college football coach in the nation, has earned 2 national championships and been close to several others. As a player he started at defensive back for Division 1 powerhouse UGA, and as an assistant coach he served under Nick Saban at Alabama. So it seems your own “football accomplishments” are laughably, grossly and utterly inferior to Coach Smart. He doesn’t know you exist, but you have the temerity to mock him on an obscure chat room as if you are anything more than an inept gnat on his a##.

That's comedy gold but you forgot about Goober choking away another championship. It was 18 and 64 all over again for the Dirty Dawgs. His team should have rolled Ole Miss by four TDs. Instead he was humiliated once again on the big stage.

I think Ole Miss is a lot better than a 4 td loss to Georgia. Both games this year were very close, just in reverse endings. I think Ole Miss has a ton of talent and like Kiffin or not, he was part of putting that together. Do I think he is an idiot for leaving it..............yuup. Ole Miss has a shot like anyone else.

Actually, what I find comical is how Miami went from 'a horrid football team, the worst, blown opp, etc etc ' press quotes to if you listen to ESPN, the odds on favorite to win it all. Will they , I don't know, but it is comical.

I wonder if there is a world where adults can discuss topics without insulting others?

Please take a second and read what you type before posting as I have no problem eliminating the entire thread. And when I delete, it's the entire thing...

It would be helpful to "eliminate" the person who posts here only to insult others rather than the entire thread. This has gone on for many years from the same guy. I've been here for 20 plus years and never encountered anyone like that.

Great game, thought Ole Miss had them. I will now have to root for the Big 10. I can't stand Miami.

Yup, yet another great college game, Ole Miss blew it when they couldn't score a TD with first and goal at the 8, Lacy being hurt killed them.

Too bad, would have been a great story but at least Lame won't be getting paid any longer.

Both kickers missed field goals, but the Ole Miss kicker doinking one off the left upright, if that ball is 3 inches further right it clangs in like his last kick did, then all they needed at the end was a FG to win it...........what a shame.

Miami at home vs Indiana/Oregon.................meh, not really interested in either game, looks to me like Miami is on a roll and is going to win the whole thing.
