UMd never in it against Duke. Duke got up 6-0 in the 2nd quarter before the Terps could even score. Just outplayed all day and lost 13-8. Disappointing. -- Al

Yeah, they were within 2 at start of 4th qtr but not competitive after that. Looked very flat. Duke the better team.

Did not watch the women's game, but they lost as well. :rolleyes2: Great that both teams were in the semis, but it's a let down neither team went to the finals. Which says a lot about the quality of the UMD LAX programs that expectations are so high. Chris

I had company yesterday afternoon so couldn't watch that game; and was astonished by the outcome. I'm watching the repeat in a few minutes to see what the heck happened. I was able to see the Yale/Albany game and think Duke will have their hands full with the Bulldogs.

I'll be there tomorrow for the final, the stadium is half an hour from here, should be cloudy and cool, but good viewing weather for sure..............
