Brad mate,
I am at the moment "all toy soldiered out". Having a rest before heading to London tomorrow. Sent the Good Lady Wife off to Bloomingdales with two credit cards and a smile.
The hospitality and friendship shown to us throughout the Texas TS Show and here in New York has been nothing but superb. Lawrence Lo is the perfect host and I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the following gentlemen John Bennett, Rich Schuter and Louis Badaloto for the time they took to show us their beautiful homes and their truly magnificent collections.
It was great to catch up with your good self, even for a short time.
I have an extra PM-38 if you would like to buy it cobber???^&grin^&grin^&grin. You know me, I don't sell freebies.:smile2:
Cheers Howard

Howard,

It was all too short for sure but enjoyed seeing and thanks again for all your efforts with the Trophy set. Hope your wife left some money in the account after the trip to Bloomy's.

Howard, count me in for the PM 38 mate. Much appreciated. Will get your box out to you next week.

Enjoy London.

Cheers,

Brad

Thanks everyone for the comments.:)

Joe, it looks like you got more than one of the 38T? How many did you get two, or all three?

I am all pee-d out by some of the recent posts which seem to revolve and regurgitate around the same issues over and over again. Time to let the matter rest.

I think it is time to focus back on the high life again with this iconic 38(t). Here is my low res ipad quick snap contribution from this morning of a tank column on the road into France. Will follow up with better shots before the weekend is over. Wish I had a back-scene on hand. It was well worth the wait and I can say I am very happy with this 38(t) release.

The photos that follow are actual shots of 38(t) on the Eastern front. Notice the font shape of the "5" on the numbers for the 38(t) are actually different in the 2nd shot... LOL This is how it is in real life. But, if K&C did that, perhaps they will get "walloped".

Chris .

Nice quick set-up !! This tank is going to play well in a lot of future diorama's just on it's versatility alone !! Looking forward to what you come u with !
For anybody considering this tank , you'd better hurry it is practically sold out of it's allotted run !! I am hoping Andy/K&C does another run...Romanian & Hungarian or possibly captured Russian version...
I will post a Romanian version...

Are 38T commanders already eqiupped wih comms set in Battle of France ?

DM101,

All of the 38Ts have antennas. It is my guess that this equate to a comms set within. I will let the other experts here comment more. Anyway, I would think that comms and coordinated attacks was one of the prime reasons the Panzers overran the much heavier Char Bis in the early part of the war. In the later stage when the 38Ts were relegated to their German Eastern Front allies, such as Romania and Bulgaria, it is sometimes possible that equipment shortages meant that certain stuff went missing.

Rgds,Chris

Almost every German AFV had a receiver. Early in the war usually only command AFVs had a transmitter to direct the AFVs in their immediate group. Radio vehicles had several radios operating at the different frequencies the various units operated at (i.e. tanks, recon, anti-tank, Luftwaffe) to direct larger formations.

The K&C 38(t) is correct to have a single antennae in the location it is in which is the position of the bow gunner/radio operator.
