I thought I would give a couple of pics from my newest addition to my Britains Civil War Collection !

Those are very nice Ron. I have some of those also to help "round out" my artillery units. As these were sculpted by Ken Osen, they match up very well with the current WB/First Gear ACW artillery pieces which are far more superior and detailed than the earlier WB/Ertl/RC2 sets. Congrats on the acquisition - now let the thunder roll . . . . . . Mike

Don't forget to matt black the ends of the cannon-makes them look more authentic in a dio scene

I have the old Union sets but, not the confederate ones... Britains did do a nice job with them... good variety.

More reinforcements have arrived to the front ! I have had great fun tracking down these old sets. I plan to do a new display soon - because I am running out space for them in this curio !

I should talk with Ken about having some grass mats made for these wonderful Artillery Batteries !!

Brad - its that roll out - flat green/grass paper by Woodland Scenics - Treefrog has it and it is a great cheap way of giving some texture on your displays.

It only costs $9.99 a roll on Treefrog.

Union On The Move !

I heard chopping, hacking, chains dragging, horses and mules snorting and sound of wooden wheels being moved into place - late last night !
