Nicely done K&C ! A few more helmet suggestions...still quite a few jarheads with no camo helmet cover..Okinawa as well.
And many Marines let the back end of camo cover hang loose to protect neck from sun & BUGS.Marine camo covers also
provided with a pull down mosquito net.
A little added 'spice' for one **** fine series...This devil-dawg says'Thanks'.

P.S. Iwo was cold..many Marines in Army issue field jackets here......All of this 'inside baseball' is fodder for 'how crazy do
we get here?'

Take care laddie bucks!

spectacular '18!

Amazing!!!
I like them all, especially the price of victory set, (war is Hell)!
I can not say anything other than Great job guys👍👍
Thanks for sharing.

Great looking recent and future releases Andy. Soon enough they'll all be hitting my beaches !

Really looking forward to the Sgt Stryker figure release and thinking of that great film how about a couple of guys crouching enjoying their mugs of hot "Joe" K / C rations and another figure in a crouch carrying bandoliers.
A couple of prone figures digging in with their entrenching tool. On Knees version of the grenade thrower. Bazooka teams, firing and another advancing in crouch poses.
Also something like your Price of Victory set with a couple of dead Marines covered over in their ponchos. And a new take on your figure giving a wounded buddy a firemans lift, this would make for a great as a limited edition set In Frogskins or not !

Wonderful brochure - loving the upcoming releases, esp. Stryker and the Kneeling Ready B.A.R. Guy. Great stuff all around!

Excellent figures! I'm finding it increasingly difficult to resist the temptation of collecting this series.

Happy New Year Brendan,

Although I may be a "BIT" bias towards these sets ... ... I consider the new K&C USMC series one of the best ever -- Sculpted, Designed and Produced and delivered.

It appears that this series has many legs and a (hopefully) long life. The possibilities for figures and vehicles are endless. Add to this the abundance of new K&C Japanese sets (JN) and you have a tremendous opportunity to create powerful dioramas and scenes.

I have been, mainly, a 18th / 19th century collector (K&C AWI, JJD FWI/1812), but when these sets appeared I was hooked at first sight. ^&grin.
Now, I am loving the JN series, the USN series as well as this new USMC sets, all somewhat connected.

It appears that the collector acceptance has been tremendous so I don't think you should resist the temptation any longer.

"GIVE IN TO THE FORCE, LUKE. COME TO THE DARK SIDE"
We have K&C USMC sets!!!

ENJOY!

Hi guys.

What a fantastic New Brochure. I have already looked a few times, try to fit the figures in my Tarawa Diorama. There I see a few missing Numbers? Oh boy, what else does Andy have in the pipeline? and even missing one figure that can already be seen on Andy's Tarawa diorama. has this figure fallen from the landing boat?😉

I guess I can't help myself..if this series returns to Iwo Jima...how about a Gunny Basilone sculpt W/the .30 Cal.aircraft special MG
configured into "The Stinger"..throw a few BAR parts into that mix and lack of ammo becomes a big problem(and the Japs REALLY want
YOU KIAd)(4 or maybe 5 "Stingers" on IWO).

Don't see why K&C can't go backwards in time as well to the "canel"

I can understand that ... after all Andy started this USMC with the "Big Bang" of the Pacific War ... Pearl Harbor .. and the JN series.

Along with the Pacific Island fighting we can also so "city" fighting .. when MacArthur Returns to the Philippe's and Luzon (Manila) for example.

Certainly some dynamic poses coming enabling a realistic assault scenio on a Pacific island. The series is going from strength to strength, no doubt with some opposing forces in the pipe also. Robin.

Robin,

I agree with you in that this series has picked up a great bit of steam and moving
along quite well !

Would love to see Marines from 'The Canal', armed with '03's and especially Schmid and Basilone with their Browning Mgs. -- Al

Thanks Andy. Please keep it at this effective price. Let the collectors enjoy a series for once at a nice level of sculpt and paintwork at this price point. That was the primary reason for this series' success.

Hi Chris,
You've probably read most, if not all, of my correspondence on this particular point....

As the figures stand right now they are great 'action' figures at a 'great value' price... Once you start changing 'this'...adding on 'that'...the central dynamic changes too and ...so does the price!!!

Let any additions come naturally and gradually...Don't force it!
Best wishes,
Andy.

Andy,A virtual font of pose recommendations has, once again reared it's aged head.
Running (under duress, poses of Marine weapons platoon boys).30cal. 1919 MG team &
60mm Mortar humpers beatin' feet.60 mortar team in action..too many Bn.81s in
hobby..60's were up close & personal.
So, until the hobby stays strong in this area and is not distracted by demanding diorama pieces(?)
commemorating 'musical chairs night'at the Donner Party..I will remain a trusted customer!

P.S. A nice tribute to the AEF this year...(100 years ago)..???

I think the quality and price are maybe the top of the hobby (with the IDF figures)...maybe in due time we'll see some variations (i'd like to have the camo suit or at least jacket). Love the Stryker figure and given the fact that USMC movies are imho opinion some of the best of the classic war hollywood movie era i'd go for more actors figures! I want to suggest one of the most famous marines of all times..wounded on Mount Tapotchau on Saipan island..Here he is, let's see who guess the name.
