New Catalogue? (1 Viewer)

The Museum collection WW 1 Black Watch Highlander is a much awaited piece to fill in this series , Thanks !

Also some great ACW pieces ,I particularly like the individual artillerymen

The new WW1 pieces are fantastic , even though I don't collect this era.

W Britain is alive and well !!!

Looks like a good year for WB collectors and this is just the beginning :) I too was admiring the WWI figures. They do look very nice.

Yes the WW1 Highlander is spot on & will be added to my collection of Scots!!! All the new WW1 looks good have you guys spotted the new trench sections aswell? They will add a nice touch to dioramas.

Everything about this gun set, is fluid and screaming desperation, right down to the different horse poses and figures clambering aboard. I would have accepted 4 horses, but 6 is better. What a talent Ken is to capture this piece so well. A must for me. Cheers, Robin.

Alan Ball sculpted this great set and it was painted by Dave Youngquist. All I did was engineer the harness, base and assembly. I had it here for a few weeks and took plenty of images... I will post a few sometime soon!

You are too modest Ken, but equally its nice to know the talent is spread around in the making of this figure. It would be great to see some more images, to keep the anticipation going for the long months ahead, before it becomes the centre piece of the Zulu series. Cheers, Robin.

Here are some of the photos of the new AZW artillery set in a scenic environment after I assembled the numerous parts. As mentioned earlier I think this is one of Alan's best efforts to date, and Dave did a wonderful job painting the masters!

{eek3} Is all I can say! Now leaving the Zulu set untouched, the new 95th are simply a must have! I am also planning on adding all the new WWI to my current Trench display! They are truly unique!

A few more images to peak your interest. I really had fun setting these up for photography and was sad to see them get boxed off to send to Richard in Peosta Iowa.
I think these sets will be a great addition to the AZW range and will be a 'must have' for many collections.

Thanks for posting extra photos Ken, it does look amazing!!! One question how will it come packaged? Is it all attached to the board? Or do you attach it all yourself after removal from the box?

I must say I am pretty mad at WBritains at this point. Honestly, they might just drive me out of this hobby with releases like the WWI trenches and figures and the Zulu limber. I think they all owe us an apology for their reckless temptation.{sm4}

Sandor, the Trench system is nice isn't it? If I had the room I'd be buying it but Zulu & Glossies do come 1st for me oh & my K&C WW2!

With all for the great new releases , I will still have to collect within my means ,( even if I have to borrow to do it )!!:wink2:

The new Zulu offerings, specifically the limber, are just stunning, what a truly spectacular set that is.

Nobody does Zulu War figures like Britains.

NOBODY.

The new federal artillery figures look great, but I would like to see in a future release a federal gatling gun to my collection{eek3}imagesCAS9JJ25.jpg

In later catalogs, some range again?, I wish the Indian War(1865-1890):salute::

After all of the time we spent on researching the harness equipment we decided not to 'dumb it down' and to model it pretty close for the scale. This extra detail is a delicate assembly of chains, straps and hardware... As a result the horses and limber are fixed to the base and all the complex work is done for the collector.
You can see the size of the base in the catalog shot already posted.

Hope this helps.
