One the site kc hk is the new collector and the new ranc:):cool:e "piratets "

Hoogri,

The new range is not Pirates. Andy is just talking about things that he made as prototypes but never went into full production. Apparently, the whole issue is devoted to these items. Very interesting issue.

Pirates, that would have been some range. That is actually my favorite range, I have just about every pirate ever produced from any company. I would gladly trade/sell all of my K&C WW2 and devote that space to pirates. It is my true love in miniature, yet so sadly represented. Will Conte's ship ever sail? Dunno, I have been waiting about 10 years.

If Andy opened the pirates line to production, I would seriously consider getting rid of a large part of my collection to make room for it.

Just my opinion,

TD

Pretty cool none the less!

Aye me hearties! Avast there ye swabs!:eek: That is one cool looking ship. I am like Tom. If K&C came out with a line of pirates that had supporting accessories like that pirate ship I would probably sell off my Crusader items and sail into the briny sea.

Can ye say errr.

Mike

That is a pretty cool ship and figures. I think I heard somewhere (don't know where exactly and don't hold me to it) that John Jenkins made the ship for Andy.

Jeez,
I had to take a second look. I am not kidding, I will liquidate a good bit to buy these.

I would love to add to the fleet:

1. Dorset Pirate Ship
2. Dorset Confederate Gun Boat
3. Conte Cog
4. Conte Roman Galley
5. Disney POC Ship (for Foundry pirates 28mm)
6. Bradford Exchange full scale Pirate ship
7. Fusilier Canal Boat
8. Conte Pirate ship.oops, that has a spot 10 years in the making, I need to say FUTURE HERE.
9. WW1 German Boat (looks like an old sloop, small boat with gun mount

I feel like I am forgetting something, too bad I missed on the Trophy boats, they were way too cool

Some like planes, some like trains..........:D

I think I could quit my job and go into business of selling off my collections for a few years, it would be **** interesting to see what I would get, can you say leave of absense.

Can we see some pictures of your PIRATES collection?

Rod.

Would love to, my basement is currently closed to being finished, so right now all you would see is what looks like a warehouse (pallets) of boxes!

I promise to everyone, that once I get carpet down and cases in, I will start the displays!

Tom

I thought the new collector was great! I especially loved the pirate ship and the 1:60 scale armor. Hey Andy, are you hiring?:D:p

I would be very interested in a K&C Pirates line & ships, much more so if it was in the mid-18th century period. This would complement my FIW & AWI figures ... and possibly "connect" to a new K&C range on colonial India.

Imagine, sort of like Capt Sparrow meet the French & East India Company as well :D :D :D

Pirates would be very appropriate, and if they're in development now, their release could be timed for next year's occurrence of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, which happens to be the 19th of September, today, as a matter of fact, arrr!
