New Command Car (1 Viewer)

Andrew, your Horch looks very nice, but I'm not sure if they had television in cars back then ;) :D

It's a gramophone and the commander is singing along to 'Lili Marlene':D:D The other guys don't look to impressed in the back seat:D

Looks really good to me, a definite addition to my AK contingent.Nice one Andy.

Wundervar! It will look great with my GREIF half track. Now all we need is an AK Kubelwagen and an AK STORCH

It's either they hate the new Rammjager movie, or an argument over the remote control :D

Tremendous looking vehicle. As my primary interests are desert war, this is a must have for me.

Oz,

I think they're playing Call of Duty II :D. Has a great Tobruk section in it.

During one of my many discussions with Andy (he talks to me too Ron even though I'm not a collector, just some dealer of his:p), we talked about the Greif and I mentioned it was too bad it was done in so few numbers as I get frequent requests from collectors wishing they could get their hands on one.

Andy then told me Rommel had more than one command vehicle and he would come out with it at some point.

As best as I can recall, that was probably a year or two ago. There is plenty of room with collectors for basically the same vehicle done in two different theaters of war. I have already recieved several preorders for both, most are buying one or the other as some collect DAK and others collect ETO, some have ordered both as well. Brad is a great example, he collects mostly DAK items, as does John Gambale. John wants one of each, Brad will probably stick with the DAK version.

Noli-Poli, I am sure your K & C dealer of choice is just thrilled to hear you want this vehicle, just like your Honour Bound dealer of choice is thrilled you bought several of the gold edition Tigers.................

LOL :p :D ;)

Oh George - where would you dealers be without us collectors ???

Hey - sent you a PM.

Ron,
Thanks for the PM. Where would I be without the collectors; I'd be out of business, would I not? So there you go....

I notice the Rommel figure is standing on a plain yellowish base. I don't recall any other AK figures with a similar base although I don't have them all. Is that the finished version?

That yellow base is to match the color of the floorboard.

I do hope the reason that K&C Horch has not been released was because of product release schedule.

I don't want it to be because of CS allegations.:(

Nasir,

I'm sure it's just the schedule. I'm sure it will be coming out some time later this year. If I can find out, I will let you know.

Hi Guys,

The ‘HORCH’ was originally slated to come out near the end of this month but we needed to push some other items through our production lines before it. Therefore this vehicle has been delayed a little… but not to worry, it will be released very soon! Here are a couple more pictures.

Happy Collecting,

Happy Collecting,

A while back on a thread I complained about a "dearth" of new material, it was a selfish statement but it was also that I felt a lack of inspiration from the products coming out at the time. Now this is what I was talking about!! Original, Artistic, different, and it exudes personality.
I am most pleased, this is a must have.
Ray :D:p:rolleyes:

I agree Ray. It looks like a really nice addition to the lineup.
