If I am not mistaken the best selling K&C series would be WWII, Napoleonics and Crusades. WWI and AWI are probably up there now as well.
I would agree that K&C's marketing is trying to bring in new collectors with new and expanded ranges. In this economic climate, however, it might be wise to give their core customers more consistant availability of the most popular series.
The "core/loyal/addicted" collectors will spend even if they have to sacrifice other essentials (e.g. keep the heat down and eat less).
I am happy for those who are getting their wishes and perhaps I will spend my monthly allotment on other makers this time around.
No complaints just some philosophizing.

They are very different indeed..the Service Dress by the way was used even in the first stage of the second world war (if i recall ,by the guards..)..but the Battle Dress was already widespread..

Alas, no new sets of Crusaders or Saracens and some very nice sets of Crusaders and Saracens are being retired. I sure am glad I have them all.

Great releases, nothing really new to wwii, so here is hoping for some german paras from normandy with the correct color schemes and also maybe a nice russian tank or assualt gun

The only original A7V in the world is in Brisbane Australia and it has been mentioned to Andy of K&C that it is here. However not sure if in his plans to do it.

A bit of background "Mephisto remained stranded at Monument Wood until July 1918, when Australian troops of the 26th Battalion AIF (composed mainly of Queenslanders) eventually pushed the Allied front line past Mephisto's position. It was recovered by Allied forces on the night of 22 July 1918 and taken to Vaux-en-Amienois before being shipped to England in January 1919. During this time, Mephisto was 'redecorated' with details of its capture, soldiers' names and a 'British' lion with his paw on an A7V.

Subsequently, it was proposed that the tank to be displayed as a 'war trophy' in Queensland. Mephisto eventually arrived in Brisbane aboard the S S Armagh in June 1919 where it was unloaded at the Norman Wharf. On the morning of 22 August, two City Council steamrollers towed the tank to the Queensland Museum in Gregory Terrace. It remained there until 1986 when both it and the Museum were relocated to the Queensland Cultural Centre, South Bank".

Having taken a look, I'd say that my favorites are the Revolutionary War and Streets of Old Hong Kong figures. If I were to start collecting K&C, I'd jump in with SOHK. The archer set is the neatest one in this release, IMO.
