My take on the new "German Pooping Issue"

I agree with Louis - this is Andy's humor at its quarky best

I mean think about it - who else would produce such a figure in the entire Toy Soldier World. Now - I am not sure if I would pay $100 to have a German SS Soldier Poop in my Diorama or Curio Cabinet - but, you have to hand it to Andy - its an attention grabber

In the coming days I am sure we will be plastered by the Anti-Andy forces (which Brad is not) over this one - so before we have to bear that ugly display - can't we just laugh at this unusal take on WWII

Well with the Rammjager being retired something controversial had to take it's place.

I wondered if someone would do a churchill with the trimmings, (plus or minus ballerina) crocodile, petard, 95mmm gun etc, but the Firefly is surely the outstanding one - and a Cromwell and a .....................

I'd go back to gun running for a Churchill Crocodile

Well, you have to admit the German guy is really taking care of business, and it could add some interest to anyone's diorama. Surely, it will stand out to any visitor checking out your collection!! Hey, it adds just as much realism as does a guy getting his throat cut!

Love the halftrack. Have to get that one for sure. I also like the two crouching sets with flamethrower and machine gun. They look very useful.

Another thing - I have to compliment K&C on the new Crusade pieces. I am not sure if I will ever get into the Crusades - not one of my personal favorite historical periods - but really nice work!!!! They will do well.

I have no problem with the "pooping" German other than now a certain board member will want "pooping" Italians in the desert or another member will want Napolean "pooping".
This line could really turn to s***!

GI,s on patrol, Kirby gets wounded, Saunders annilalates entire German battalion by spraying his thompson, new guy in squad is killed, Cage speaks to Frenchman in French, every episode contains all of the above!

GI,s on patrol, Kirby gets wounded, Saunders annilalates entire German battalion by spraying his thompson, new guy in squad is killed, Cage speaks to Frenchman in French, every episode contains all of the above!

I use to watch that show all the time with my father so when you mentioned combat it brought back alot of good memories. A couple years ago I was gonna buy the DVD collection and I couldn't believe the price of it.

I know its plain and simple but I loved the show. You nailed it right on the head though, each character did tend to follow the same routine in each episode.

I will certainly be adding the 250 to my collection it looks superb and will go very nicely with the recently released Normandy "Wehrmacht figures". The schwimwagen looks good but if I do get it the squatting figure will end up in the dustbin. I find that figure in rather dubious taste, however each to his own.

'Combat' and 'The Samurai' were popular with me and my 'War' loving mates when we were kids. I made sure I allowed my children to play with toy guns when they were kids as I used to love plying 'War' when I was growing up. But did we really grow up, we are still playing with toy soldiers

A very accurate *****sment of the show. Loved it when I was a naive kid....also collected "combat" bubblegum cards.....with Sarge Saunders...it was amazing how he never recevied more than a flesh wound.....

It is true we all do it and males like to make jokes about it ("is Farmer Brown here?") but do we need to sink to the lowest common demoninator and bathroom humor. Using the line everybody does it is an excuse for everything. I think that we as human beings are a little better than that. Apparently not.
