Roll over to the Britains site for some good looking new figures.

Andy:smile2:

New Zulu sets 1-4 Escaping the Hospital, a Naval Gatling Gun for Sudan and the Iron Brigade at Antietam. I do like the new ARW sets as well - should keep everyone happy.

Andy

What's the site? Don't see them on the the Britains site?

Ooops, disregard, found them. The Iron Bgde color guard set will be a must have.

Thanks for heads up

Also I see on the tactical scenes section there is a new version of the hospital - burnt out though - which goes with the new figures

I will be curious to see how the Britains naval brigade stacks up to the JD naval brigade sets..I hope they blend together somewhat. Either way I will be pre-ordering the 3 new sets for the Sudan...

The escaping the hospital sets are all great! Will be adding all of them to my collection, the burnt out hospital looks good to but ill have to pass on that as already got the original version.

These might look good on the rear deck of the Gunboat. Very nice indeed. ^&cool

Some great looking Zulu items. Great detail on the Naval Brigade officer and good variety on the Revolution and ACW.

I started a thread on the Titanic items which have not been mentioned in this thread yet (just noted Polarbear beat me to it !).

Well done Britains for some excellent items.

Many thanks for the links Joe:salute::

The figures escaping the Hospital are a "must have", no room for another Hospital though{eek3}^&grin

Cheers

I agree those figures are great. The burned out version of the hospital is a good idea for the people that missed out on the first version. I can see my Christmas present list developing.......^&grin
I'm not sure how the building extension piece works though^&confuse

My only disappointment is the release dates of the new Zulu figures, too much, too soon, 4 sets being released at the same time as the limber...........seriously who has that kind of money? That is $1000 just for September. :(

I patterned the hospital (Otto Witt home) addition to follow the end of the building as depicted in the famous Alphonse de Neuville painting.
This great new grouping of figures evacuating the building were sculpted by Alan Ball, and were also inspired by the events shown in this spirited painting.
Here are a couple of images Richard Walker and I photographed shortly after the building addition and the figures were finished and painted.
You can see the joint where the new section is butted to the hospital. This should fit the old version and the new version of the building the same, allowing folks that already have the hospital to use this new section too.

I hope this answers any questions about how the new addition is to be used.
Enjoy!

Hi Guys,

While I enjoy the usual sort of things as much as everyone I am sort of surprised that hardly anyone has noticed or mentioned the RMS Titanic sets that are coming. Very interesting to see a non-military item coming to us.

Also I am very thrilled to see the naval gun crew they will be added to my display for sure!

I understand the financial aspect of it Britfarmer, but W Britain annouces far enough ahead that I save my pennies...er dollars for the mass releases. I really like the unit releases rather than two or three figures every six months.

Hi Guys -here are a few more images:
