Looke like a return to the Fall of Berlin range too!!

Not sure if it's the monitor I'm looking at but it looks a little "limey" shall we say :D

Guys, someone better call up that Typhoon, this baby looks a monster!:D:cool:

all right you panzer fiends- what was the point of this thing anyway? At 71 tons- yeah 158,000 POUNDS!!!:eek: It was even bigger than the modern Abrams.

Why make such a gigantic tank? Weren't then Panthers, Stugs, Pz IV's, Tigers, etc enough of a match of the Allies?

Hitlers obsession with bigger and bigger AFV's and his disregard of the money being diverted from smaller far better Tanks than this. Most Euopean bridges couldn't even take the weight of this baby, you had in effect a mobile Pillbox with huge gun. Could take out Allied Tanks at Huge ranges but was a sitting duck for Fighter Bombers. Many were abandoned by the crews when they ran out of petrol or the engine packed up under the extreme strain of trying to move it. Impressive looking beast though...and try penetrating that frontal armour!

That image is of a promotional banner for use by shops and will ship later in February.

Rob,
Do you have the image of the Crusaders banner as that is also nice although all figures have been seen ?

Regards

I was thinking that too, but probably another of the ubiquitous KC releases that can be used on either the western or eastern front. Berlin may be dead as a stand alone line. Not even sure there was a Jagdtiger in Berlin, but the panzerfaust figures might work.

Agreed- though my conclusion is more on the figures in the flyer- looks like a Volksturm with a panzerfaust in there- and then all the b&w pics look like Berlin. Though I agree with you- pehaps we can wiggle the kaiserwagen in there :D

I think you are on to something. How about we fly Eichmann in on a Rammjager and he can dish soup out to the troops from the kaiserwagen? Tie up all the loose threads.

this is a great model of the jagdtiger .
like the new soldiers for belin .
richard .

Unlikely that a Jagdtiger was in Berlin - certainly no formation of Jagdtigers. It's easy enought to track - only 3 units used them. Most went to schwere Panzerjaeger Abt 512 which fought in Hungary and later on the eastern and western front. So unless some got pushed back to Berlin by the Russians...?? A small number went to schwere Panzerjaeger Abt 653 which I think was destroyed near Karlsruhe on the western front. 5 Jagdtigers were used by the schwere SS Panzer Abteilung 501 in April-May of 1945 in Hungary.

I've been wondering on which AFV I've seen this camo on, is it a similar Green to the Jagdpanther, or was it that one off Hetzer Gordon painted a long time back for a railway crash dio?

Rob

I'm sure it will be around $255 or more for this piece..... it is impressive. You added this to your list already Rob?

Big old lump isn't it!
