CS, I'll have to get the Waffen SS & PG Division books you mentioned but I do have "Luftwaffe Squadrons 1939-45" from that series, and I agree that the series does have its limitations.
It is such an obscure little tank that it's a wonder it was issued in model form at all, so we have to be thankful to K & C for that. I wonder when it will make an appearance at a dealer near you.
Thanks, I do have that and read it the other day, but I have to admit I forgot that it mentioned 12th Panzer Division, which does confirm the info in that little book. Another senior moment for Oz
That site is usually very reliable but their listing of this tank as: "up-armored fast reconnaissance / infantry support / assault tank" means they're not perfect either. With a top speed of only 15.5 mph would have seen the little Ausf F being overtaken by much larger German tanks in a flat out retreat from the Russkies
Anyhow, I'm going to get this little tank as it will be an unusual addition to my collection, while the Rammjager is just to unusual, but I have noticed that some "detail junkies" have bought it so you never know
