New Large Scale St. Petersburg Acquisition (1 Viewer)

Here is a vintage large Scale St. Pete Arab on Camel. It is huge and heavy. Was done I would guess early 2000s in ST. Petersburg, signed by an artist I have seen many times in my travels. Very high quality, just a neat item, I was very happy to have found it!

I think at least 120mm, maybe 150mm, it is larger than anything else from Russia I have found. The artist and I forget the exact letters is "Sham....:" I think they painted for Arsenyev, Bijato, Amber and Niena (High Quality side). Niena is an interesting studio - b/c I think today people see that name and think souvenir, but if you find earlier works, you will find very high quality that IMO competes with just about anything, especially larger format figures. I have not seen anything better in larger format other than the $20,000 works of art from Vityaz (HQ Arsenyev).
