Saturday - I bought my first K&C Foot Dragoons - it was a small purchase (wife was with me ;) ) - but, the figures are simply great ! I will be buying many more !

Also - a package came in the mail - NEW GENERALS & MARSHALS for my King & Country Diorama - Napoleon Command Headquarters  - Although these are Hachette Figures (hopefully I will not be put to the rack under our new marshal laws for posting here ) - they do go wonderfully with King & Country Napoleonic Figures and really add to all dioramas - IMHO.

Pictures of the new troops below:

Great looking pictures Ron and some nice additions to your "Nappy" collection. I told CJ about Max's single status ;) she wants to know exactly how Max supports himself before she decides on any possible involvement  - women - go figure.

LOL - Thanks for kind remarks on the collection.

Max wanted to make sure that EVERYONE knows he is Executive Director of a powerful Washington Lobby Firm and has so much job security he sleeps during the day !

I wish I had his job !

Will they add to my diorama's

No. 1 Frenchie's being trampled under foot of my Scots Greys?

No.2 Frenchie's being speared on my ColdStream Guards and Highlander Squares?

At some point I'd like to get the Cantiniere for my collection. What a beautiful line of figures.

Nice display Ron! Just FYI if you are looking for the complete set of Napoleon's marshalls + most of his most famous staff, you can get them from "Les Drapeaux de France" in Paris: http://www.drapeaux-de-france.net/ They ship to the US. I have all of them (bought them a few years ago when the Euro was lower) on the Web and at their wonderful store in Paris (Palais Royal). Most of them are either from Metal Modeles or commissioned by "Le Cimier". The quality is exceptional hence the price.

Grognard a.k.a. The Frenchie :)

Superb command set-very very impressive!

Now if only you could persuade AN to knock out a similar set for us ACW collectors of let's say US Grant's Command circa June 1864 I'd be your chum for life :D:D

I presume with appropriate benches and blurry figures in the background?

Nice additions Ron. Just received my first Foot Dragoon figure for inspection and you are absolutely correct, these are great figures and there will be many more arriving for deployment!

Since we are on the command set topic, I thought I would post a few pics of mine...:)

Grognard

Very, Very Nice Collection - Thanks for sharing. :)

How other Napoleonic Collectors out there - lets see your collections ! :D

Ron

Thanks for the nice words about my collection! I just started on the forum last week after watching you guys for a year or so :) I have 200+ soldiers (only Napoleonic) that I bought in France, Russia, and of course from K&C (the bulk of my collection) and Britains.

To anwer to Jeff on the artillery set, I am not sure. I bought it on Ebay France last year with no information on the box. I think it's either from Del Prado, Starlux or Editions Atlas. I see it for sale from time to time on Ebay France. I saw the same set with higher quality painting in a store in Paris with 4 horses. Not sure why the ones I see on Ebay have only 2...

Here are a few other pics from part of my collection:

Jeff, actually I just checked on Ebay France and found the same artillery set. The maker is Editions Atlas in France.

More New Troops have arrived for the King & Country NAPOLEON COMMAND TENT Diorama ! :D

If you guys are collecting K&C Napoleonics - I highly reccommend these HACHETTE figures for your collection - great detail and go very well with K&C Napoleonic Figures.

I might have to get some Foot Dragoons to protect all these officers !
