Hello all!
As promised we are now releasing the first three Hudson & Allen French Buildings. These are patterned to be used with all figures and vehicles scaling between 54mm to 60mm, or 1/34th to 1/30th.

These are all hand painted and finished exactly as pictured, we will not be offering these as unpainted and unfinished buildings.
Our first buildings are really facades at 4 1/4" in depth. As we continue to expand the range we will include full buildings, some with interiors.

Our first building is our French Cafe & Apartments and it measures 13 1/2" Wide, 12" Tall and 4 1/4" Deep. It includes all of the details as pictured, including the flowers in the box!

Our second building is called French Single family Dwelling and it measures 9 3/4" Wide, 13" Tall and 4 1/4" Deep. This is a typical building of stone construction that might have a professional office on the first floor.
It comes decorated exactly as you see it, including the potted plants flanking the entrance. This building is retailing at our introductory price of $115.00 each and we have 12 of these on hand at the moment.

Will this match with my French hotel I bought from you during the 2009 Westcoaster?

Our fourth new release is our Village Road Section, a cobblestone street with corner, and slab sidewalk. This could really be used for several geographic locations and time periods.
It measures 28" Long, 11" Wide and is 1/2" Thick. It was designed to be used on any standard 30" bookcase shelf, but it can be easily cut if needed.
These as listed at the introductory price of $50.00 each and are hand painted as shown.

Here we have placed a Collectors Showcase Panther on the Village Street Section for scale reference.

Certainly! With these buildings and the street sections you can add on to your one-of-a-kind custom diorama and start building a village. Let us know what you might be interested in!
All the Best,
Ken

Here are a couple of other detail shots, including one of a 1st Legion German Infantryman. As you can see these new buildings are compatible with many of the great products offered today.
All of these images were taken on a table top with the buildings and street sections as offered. You can use many of our H&A products to customize your building and street sections such as forest litter in the gutters and any of our WWII vintage signs.
We wanted you to see these as they are offered with only figures or vehicles placed next to them for scale reference.

All of the windows feature 'glass' and 'curtain' details. Note the brass door knobs on the doors.

We are trying to get some last minute packing done for the Valley Forge show, if I get a chance I will try to post a few more images before we go.
Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions!
All the Best,
Ken Osen

The quality obviously speaks for its self, but just how many hours in one of your days as it would seem that you have been incredibly busy –very nice indeed.

Ken:

I am interested in the French Cafe and the Single Family Dwelling. I plan to situate them across the street by the tree and newstand (left, facing the hotel). I will also need to some cobble stone street and sidewalk to match my French Hotel. PM me on the total package.

Absolutely brilliant work Ken and Ericka. Just brilliant. I would like to see a similar line of offerings for 18th/19th century America for AWI/ACW use. Once again just great work and amazing detail.

Hi All,
Thank you for the kind comments!
As I mentioned Ericka and I are headed out to the Valley Forge show and trying to figure out how to get everything into the Jeep.

A couple of follow up items that may be of interest to many of you. We have a dozen of each building finished at the moment and we will assemble and decorate another batch soon, but as someone else was good enough to say, there are only so many hours in a day. All of these are made here in Michigan by us and we have other custom orders we are also working on.

This is the first release of French buildings and there are more to follow, including some full buildings with details on all sides. A few will also have interiors with finished walls and flooring. Some of these will be available in September, including the church.

We are also working on some American late eighteenth and early nineteenth century buildings... as you know I have sculpted literally hundreds of ACW for various manufacturers over the years and I have been asked many times if I would please create some buildings. They are coming soon... Mike, maybe I will have something to show you in July when I visit. It would be fun to photograph them on your custom diorama!

I will try to get a photo of all three next to one another before I leave.
All the Best!
Ken Osen
