A new sneak peek and TCS new Panther with removable shurzehn with a great new camo for summer and winter coming at the end of August! Checkout the photos at TCS website in the Forum section it is worth the trip. Great design and camo Brian, can't wait till it is available!:smile2:

Look like at late war version of a Panther G but could be wrong

I would have liked to see something different that had not been done rather recently in the CS inventory. There are plenty of German AFV's yet to be done. CS have not done a Panzer II, the many variants of tank destroyers, flak panzers!!

Winter is the better looking variant for me

I would also like to see some allied opposition instead of Sherman's. Do these still come with damaged track these days??

And why not a sturmtiger {sm4}

I agree, at least could have been done an early version with totally different painting

Great post and the reason why I don't collect CS now I'm sorry to say

Are these Panthers to be the same size as their previous released version or are they some off scale new model? Michael

Very much like the two versions, but especially the ambush scheme. -- Al

Awesome!!! These look amazing.

I've been wanting an updated Panther w/ schurzen so thank you TCS for this one. I'll have to rivet count later, but it seems they corrected all the little idiosynchrosies of the last Panther. The hull machinegun is the right length, no zimmerit, removeable schurzen, and finally a Panther G w/ a chin mantlet! Excellent looking model.

Only thing I would have wanted that they didn't change was to raise the tracks somewhat, as I think these Panthers sit too close to the ground.

Both paint jobs look good. The summer model with a few marking changes would make an excellent Herman Goerring Panzer Division Panther G.

All in all a very nice looking Panther and I'll be adding both to the collection.

I put the "Germans at Rest" figures in the picture next to my old Panther and this new model looks to be the exact same size as the older Panthers.

Personally, I was hoping for one in the larger size of the current Tigers, but oh well. This one should fit right in next to the old Panthers and the Jadgpanthers.

Is Panther #211 supposed to be based on a real one? if so, any history on it?

I assume it's not the Panther #211 that was knocked at near Stoumont during the Battle of the Bulge.

Good question...From what I understand CS is now making 1:28th scale AFV's... They should work well with their figures and maybe K/C WWII figures as well.
