NEW RELEASE: DIRECT HIT!

Probably the least PC set we've made, but as we all know: war is hell and it just had to be done: our brand new Direct Hit SS gun crew. A perfect 3 figure set that expresses that battle worn relief at being the surviving party to a successful combat encounter.

This set goes perfect with our pak 7.5 set or our 88 sets. We've got alot of great figure sets coming out that should enhance any diorama with action and personality.

These gems are due out in May along with a myriad of other release set to be introduced on the forum and in catalog form in the ensuing weeks. Gentlemen lets get ready to roll!

Cheers! Tally Hooo!

Very Original !........TCS has taken a very unique course of action .... unique ideas

Nice work Brian! Another set that illustrates another non pc act on the battlefield, I like it, will be interesting to see the reaction.:wink2:

Gotta love this 'outside the box' idea. No same ol', same ol', for CS. {bravo}} -- Al

Sure is one definitely out of the 'normal range' of poses for toy soldiers, so this has to be commended!!

Its something that I love to see.... gunners doing thier job.. and with great success.

Well Done...

John

Original idea for sure but would rather have seen the allies with these poses first.
The good guys should get the recognition they deserve!

This set will go well with my CS 88mm or the Pak40. Very creative, first time for these type of poses being done.

It certainly is a different kind of set. Would like to see something in reverse though.

Cool set. You need to make a Russian T-34/85 or JS2 w/ thrown track and damaged turret. Less worries about PC if it's desroying a Soviet tank I think. Need a US anti-tank gun and figure set like this most definitely!

Hoping for some Panzer crew figures. I hate having to buy a new tank to get Commanders, drivers etc. with different poses.

does this go against PC?? Not at all IMO. Nice set and, very original thinking. I do like the detail on the kit bags looking like they are filled with food or other items. Detail at its best. good set of figures

As much as I like it..... I agree I would like to have seen an American or Brit crew first.....

Agree with previous comments about a good idea. However look on the bright side as that GI patrol behind the bushes is about to ruin their celebration.

Would not be surprised if Wayne had a hand in this {sm4}{sm4} (just joking Brian).

yes !

CS have based this set on a famous photo from a sequence taken early in the opening stages of OP Barbarossa which showed a Heer PAK crew celebrating after taking out some Soviet armour.

I agree, they would look great with the 88 set too......a very good idea CS, this is precisely the sort of thing that attracts new CS collectors like me{sm3}

Cheers!

Perfect, that's exactly what the idea was! A sort of booster set for the pak 7.5 and 88. If it goes over well we'll do more like it for sure.

Cheers!

I recognized it too. If the picture exists why not a set? Good job Brian.

The pic was really of an 88 crew on the steppe in 1942, engaging targets at very long range (thus the breathing room for shenanigans). I imagine it was released as an add on crew because it could be used as a total replacement crew for a small pak as shown or an expansion crew for an 88 (which had a very large crew...thus could always use some more bodies)
