Picked up my In the Mood today and it was in perfect condition. So much better looking in person than the picture on the box. Keith
I ask a favor. Could anyone that has the new CS Sherman and the Easy 8 Sherman post pictures of the 2 together. I badly want to buy the upcoming Stuart and am trying to justify buying some of CS larger offerings to match size wise should the Stuart be too big for most my other stuff. Not trying to cause a scale issue..Been there, done that. This is a legit request..If anyone has the latest Tiger vs the Sherman's, that would be helpful also..Thanks, Michael

In the Mood Sherman looks awesome. Just wish it was bigger personally. In real life the Sherman was just as tall as a Tiger or King Tiger.
I think with no offence intended when looking at CS releases which I do as much as Michael that we have to disregard the Tiger I as its an anomaly in scale debates for CS. Its purely a stand alone AFV.
I fear you are right, and that makes me sad, as CS was the only company seemingly willing to make larger AFVs. Their King Tigers and new Tiger are the only AFVs I own that actually look right with the figures. I'm disappointed to see that CS appears to be merely following the other manufacturers and sticking with smaller 1/30 vehicles and larger 1/28 figures.
Brian, here's one customer that wants you to bring back the "right sized" armor! (This time just don't put 1/30 on the box so Mitch and maddadicus can't complain!{sm4})
Brian
Keep the bigger vehicles coming they are the only vehicles that are looking correct with main stream 1/30 th figures. I am buying everything of yours that I can find including older pieces I missed.
Thanks
Alex
Let's give Brian and CS credit for maintaining accuracy in scale. If you look at technical data the Sherman increased in size as follows:
M4A1: L=19.2, W=8.6, H=9.0
M4A1 (76MM): L=24.5, W=8.6, H=9.7
M4A3E8: L=24.7. W=9.8, H=9.7
If you look at comparison pics shown here the size difference is evident but not overwhelming.
As for the Tiger, the length (27.9 ft) and width (12.2 ft) were more while the height were almost equal. So if one looks at the enclosed pictures the scale representation is good.

You rivet counters, always bringing in your accursed numbers to the discussion!^&grin
Just kidding. Don't get me wrong, I think the weathering and paint on the "In the Mood" Sherman look amazing, and I will get one. It will just get displayed next to my CS Panzer IVs or Panthers.
I personally just want all the CS armor to be larger and in the scale of the new Tiger. Call it "right sized", 1/28, an "impressionist's" interpretation of 1/30th, whatever, I don't care. I just want armor that doesn't make my figures all look like they're 6'9" and looks historically accurate. The King Tiger and Wittman Tiger did this. The new Sherman appears more in line with a hard 1/30 scale. Just my opinion. In either case CS armor is still bigger than all the other makers, so it's not like I'll stop buying it.
Back to measurements. They are good, but they don't tell the whole story. A Sherman was narrower and shorter than a Tiger but it didn't look THAT small next to a Tiger, as the below pics show. Ultimately, these are small nit-picks an the new CS Sherman's are definitely hits.
