NEW RELEASE: WIRBELWIND!

In late 42 the Germans were already feeling the air cover pinch, especially on the eastern front. So mobile anti-aircraft capability was a tactical necessity. Actually one really could trace the impending impotence of the Luftwaffe to Herr Goering’s inept handling of the Battle of Britian. Hence mobile flak units inevitably grew out of the loss of air superiority enjoyed early on.

The Wirbelwind was a typical German solution to the problem. A gaggle of four quad 20’s hoisted into an open turret. And what better platform than the reliable Pzkfw IV chassis? Our newest release is just that great AFV. Built with metal parts on a polystone chassis it also includes our thrown track option. There are three crew operating the gun as well as an optional horizontal ground target kit. The end goal is to incorporate as much flexibility in the model as possible. Available in Winter and a Normandy paint scheme the quantities are extremely limited.

This release and loads more of TS fun are due out next month. Keep those eyes peeled for more killer announcements ^&grin

Cheers!
Brian

Brilliant Brian, a much overlooked piece of equipment in the TS world. Order in. Robin.

Agree Robin absolutely over looked and a huge well done to Brian and TCS looks great.

Great release! Something different from the usual tanks{bravo}}

Great release! Good to see this important vehicle be reproduced in 1/30. Just out of curiosity, was the turret/gun platform traversable or was it fixed?
Cheers,
Brendan

This is the reason I like the optional damaged track, to copy scenes like this. Robin.

It's going to be 1:28th scale not 1:30th....CS AFV's measure out to 1:28th scale.
