Anyone land a JEJ Spit yet?
-Moe
I got mine, the beer barrel version, it’s at the retailer. If you notice both versions are now on the retired list with several retailers admitting to “out of stock”. Another successful release from John.
It will be the only plane in my collection since I preferr 54mm gloss figures. It was the beer.

I have mine. No barrels. I like the clean look. beautiful model! I love the weathering they do. the exhaust stains are especially pleasing. My only minor disappointment has nothing to do with the model. I just found out that this particular aircraft may not have had guns in it, and was never used in combat. still a beautiful item, and one I'm very proud of. Nice work JJD!
Is the prop removable? Noticed that the set is denoted as being “6 Pieces.” I’m prone to assume that four of those are the main landing-gear, one is the model, and the last piece is, perhaps, the prop.
I’m very impressed with the RAF figure sets:
Darn nice sculpts above.

Sounds like the blue-trouser version of the guy with the cat and the cricket bat:

Nice figure, no doubt about it.

That's the one. blue trousers, orange cat.
Well it appears that there will be no new WWII releases for November . . . . Another easy month for me on the TS budget . . . .

Yes, comes un attached, and can be removed. you are correct, prop, main aircraft body, two down gear parts, and two up gear parts. So very well painted! I've displayed mine on a grass diorama matt, with a Thomas Gunn figure of an RAF pilot sitting in a chair. very nice, until I can get some additional JD RAF figures.
The Spitfire was described here and elsewhere as 1949, maybe a typo, maybe a ceremonial piece? Who knows, but I could not resist! I asked the question here and then decided to go ahead... glad I did!
