23073 - "Move Up" - 1916-17 British Infantry Officer Kneeling and British Infantry Preparing to Spring Up appears to have a Zulu picture next to it

British Royal Artillery set look very nice. Of course for me all of the new ACW sets look great, especaiully the Yank and Reb casualty sets.
:smile2: Mike

Some very good new sets. Will be a expensive time for me with the AZW, War along the Nile an WW1 , I see the Zulu exclusives are with Magpie now. I'm happy that there is some new 42nd Highlanders from the Nile , I will have to get all the AZW sets and look at the New WW1 sets , well done Britains

Well, just sent an email to Magpie on what's the best way to order their Zulu War Exclusives from here in the USA. Hoping this will be a smooth and easy process. - GREAT SETS, W.Britains.

I love the figures for the Nile/Sudan range! Lots of must haves.
Well done Ken!
Thanks.

Some interesting pieces, majority not to be released until next year, so plenty of time to consider and save up. Robin.

I complained a while back about how Britains does things but now I like it as it gives me time to pre-order without having to rush.

Hi Guys

Ther are new releases on the W Britains site.

Brian

I do like the new editions to the War Along the Nile Series, especially the Naval Brigade from the battle of Abu Klea. Hope we get to see the Naval Brigade Gardner Gun from this battle in future releases.

Paul

I was pleased as well as the war on the nile got some love this time around. Also the AZW got some Zulus and some individual figures after all those 2 figure sets of the past year. The biggest announcement for me was that Ken confirmed the UK dealer for AZW exclusives was Manchester House which was first speculated at the Toronto Toy Soldier Toy in early Summer. I was surprised they chose a Zulu focus not a 24th of foot like the others. The downside, outside of the ambulance, this forum will be relatively quiet on AZW and War on Nile till the New Year....

ARW British artillery is a welcome release........Colonial artillery, Hessians and Americans in "hunting shirts" are desperately needed for collectors of this period.

Nice casualty figs for the ACW Union.

Wonder why single figs are $32 each but double fig sets are $70?

Probably paying the extra $6 for the box and foam which the double figure sets come in, as compared to the simple blister pack for single figures.

Not one glossy figure.

Oh well, I guess I be able to save more money to use towards my other interest. :(

I think you have to look elsewhere for your glossy fix I am afraid
Fortunately there are many cottage manufacturers who still cater for us glossy fans but the mainstream manufactures are all firmly fixed on the matt figures
