The K&C figure is one of the original romans from quite a few years ago. The recent K&C romans were smaller, probably the same size as the figures in the other photo's. My main problem with K&C's new romans was the color of the shields... more of an orange than red.

Absolutely, great job mate. It confirms what I had been hearing about FL, AeroArt and Conte.Yes, that was a good idea to put the FL figures next to a number of other manufacturers. That should answer a lot of 'scale' questions before they are asked!

I have them to and would have to disagree. These are some of the earliest Conte figures and were good when they came out especially at their price point. Later Conte sets like the Band, command set, shielld wall, and so on were much improved. Then the cavalry came and was an improvement yet again. Please, those Contes Romans look like a plastic $5, 00 Wal-Mart toys

Haven't had alot of time to comment but I just wanted to say that FL did a wonderful job on these Romans. I am very pleased with my first of many to come FL figures. When I get some time this weekend ill add a couple photos.
