Here are some questions i have for you honor bound collectors in comparision with the figures produced by K and C

1: Detail

2: Quality

3: Cast

4: and overall comparision to K and C ( will they compliment eachother if used in the same display) :salute:::salute::

1, 2 and 3: In my opinion, the detail and quality of Honour Bound vehicles is superior to K&C in casting, painting and overall quality, while the detail and quality of K&C figures is superior to Honour Bound in casting, painting and overall quality.

4. Overall: I often display Honour Bound vehicles (I have at least one of every Honour Bound vehicle except for the Sturmtiger) with K&C figures (I have more than 3,000 K&C figures), and I think they work very well together.

3000 figures at $30 each = $90,000. This can be an expensive hobby. The HB figures would lost amongst 3000 anyway to make any comparison, but the few I have blend in with K&C nicely and are well done, but just slightly less bulky and perhaps say 60mm rather than 65mm, hardly noticeable, the vehicles are fine for size.. Cheers, Robin.

well thanks for your imput folks and louis wow quite impressive 3000 thousand! King and country figures i hope to for my collection to grow!

When I bought 99% of the 3,000 figures, it was closer to $10-15 per figure, and I bought them over a period of 18 years. The Honour Bound vehicles, however, were pretty expensive, especially the Gold Edition ones . . . that being said, they were worth every penny.:wink2:

the best AFV's that have hit the hobby IMO and are still unsurpassed in detail and quality.

Their figures were good and I have a good few but, were never in line with the superb quality of their AFV's

A big hole has still been left where HB were in the hobby

Anna and her team have done a great job. AFV's, well, dollar for dollar I still believe I give the slight edge to Figarti (exclusive of the Gold Edition HB vehicles mind you). Their figures have really closed the gap over the years, I would even go so far as to say of all the major companies out there, they have probably made the most improvements over that span of time. I have their sole Modern figure (with Santa) and he is the best one ever produced, hands down.

Simply put, you won't go wrong buying any of their vehicles or figures. They will make very handsome additions to your collection.

thing is there seems to be IMO a bizzarre differentiation between the gold edition and, the so called general releases. The detail on the general release AFV's blew most manufacturers at the time and since to bits. HB must have been for quality and cost every other manufacturers worst nightmare.

The panthers jagdpanthers etc were simply superb

Can give you my opinion in a few days just bought an hb. Panther on e-bay.it will be my first hb.item.

after getting my first hb tank---panther at rest --it is beautiful work more realistic i feel than my k&c or cs afv"s.i think mitch is dead on with his opinion of the figures ---nice but not up to the high standards of the tank.i hope i will be able to find a few more tanks from hb i think they are amazing.

MC BOWEN..

glad you like the AFV. Good luck with your hunt With no disrespect to other manufacturers if you don't have an HB AFV whatever size your collection is IMO its incomplete

now that i have one i agree --they are a level above, thank you guys on the forum for turning me on to them.if you do not mind my asking which figures do you use with your hb.afv's? I am trying some extra king & country tank figures and they seem to fit well.

K&C do work well I use some of the tank riders sets but, usually my AFV's are on their own unless, I do some dio's
I will post a few pics of some HB stuff and hopefully others will
