New Warbirds (1 Viewer)

I was over at Harvey's house after the Saddle Brook show and he showed me the Avenger. I had no idea it was that big, comparable in size to the Swordfish, if anybody has that. It's an incredibly well crafted plane and a beauty as anyone who has one like Evil Chuck must know.

I saw the new Mosquito and Henshel today at Harvey's house (yes, he got them today). It's super and I think anybody who got one has to love it.

We both got the Polish Spitfire and it's a super plane.

I was watching my favorite show, Dogfights, again tonight, and this episode started with an American ace who flew with the Royal Canadian Air Force in a Mosquito nightfighter just like the one K&C is producing. I am waiting to hear from Andy about the one I pre-ordered . . .

Louis,

They're making 15, ten of which I assume are on their way to people and another five, which won't be ready for another month or two. Perhaps, yours is in the second group of five.

Brad,

I'm not worried about it . . . it will get here when it get's here. I'm patient, excited, but patient!:D

Mine arrived today safe and sound , Both realy nice models
the only problem being the mosquito is too big to fit in my
cabinet [It will have to live on top for now to keep it safe from
little hands] .

Cheers Forum Squadron Members:

Great photos of the dh98 Mosquito which I did order. However, I must point out that the propeller and throttle levers are once again in the wrong position. They were never to the right of the flying pilot-rather to the left against the fuselage as pictured below . My other K&C Mosquito has this same issue which I thought would have been corrected. With over six feet in height of dh98 Mosquito research material & hours of research in the actual aircraft, I feel qualified to comment on this. All the same, A beautiful kite.

Beaufighter

Louis-was it Lou Luma from 418 Squadron RCAF. If so, I have met him & even have a 1:10 scale RC replica of his dh98 under construction complete with a machine gun sound chip in the nose & electric retractable landing gear!

Yes it was Lou Luma, and the first kill it depicted was him taking out the ME410 in your painting!:cool:

Cheers Rob , Although I,m not realy a plane head I realy like
the few I,ve managed to pick up so far representing British/US/NZ/South African/polish and 1 german for everyone else to shoot down ;) .
And another big bonus for me is that you can trace info on
some of the pilots who flew a particular plane .
I initially thought i,d ordered the Battle of Britain spit [but the polish ones cool so no loss ] But all is not lost as i,ve tracked down corgi,s
Douglas Bader spit ,so that oversight will soon be remedied.

I just wanted to show off my WARBIRD SPIT one more time :D
