Hi fellows, just messing with the camera tonite, took a few shots on a small dio I have been working on, as well as the new Opel riders on the Stug which work great together, also a few winter shots of my small but growing winter collection...Sammy

Hi Sammy ,
Looking really nice , your right those Opel riders do work very well . Thanks for sharing regards Gebhard

Nice dio's You mention that you are working on them. did you build the winter and summer with fence yourself??? Looks like TM may lose some business!!
Mitch

Great to see you posting pics Sammy. You've given me some ideas for the Opel riders.

Thanks guys for the nice comments, I truly have few skills in the camera dept. area, aim and click!! but I am glad to have some nice dios to look at in person, looking forward to seeing some new winter stuff, no doubt my favorite, as the winter Opel is going to be a great addition...Sammy

I like this one. The glass can be viewed as ice. You only need breath vapor.

Great work (as always) Sammy !
I'm conflicted...I bought the FL MG set and really like it- but the scale difference has just been too hard for me to accept (since I'm pretty deeply invested in KC, CS, TG etc...for WWII).
Gotta love the sculpts and paintwork quality of FL, it's why I'm so hooked on the FL 'Crusaders' line. Anyone else share this "conflict"?

Yeap

I had hundreds of KC WwIi figures and that was the 1st reason why i didnt invest into fl wwii
now since most of it is sold, i have the space to buy fl wwii figures
but i must concentrate of naps, samurais, awi and renaissance lines first...

cheers

I've actually thought of doing that, especially given the FL Winter PKW III and Blitz are incredible looking. Since I focus my WWII collecting on the Bulge period, it's a 'pipe dream' at this point.

Very nice photos, Sammy. I like the Tank riders very much on your pictures ....

You apparently now have quite a Collection ....

Yes Mike, when I opened my first set of First legion Germans a while back after collecting K&C for about 5 years I was taken back a bit at the size, but when I got down to the nuts and bolts of the detail/painting etc of the FL figures I was absolutely hooked, now when I recieve a new set I always take time to admire the detail of whatever set I buy, it has put the fun back into my collecting that's for sure, and since I own only FL soldiers there isn't a size issue at all:smile2:...Sammy

For that reason I bought Napoleonic and AWI figures (mostly) from FL for a long time. I had only a few from K&C. I resisted the cost of the FL WWII figures for a long time because I have so many from other makers. I have recently bought 2 FL WWII figures and love them. I really like my K&C collection and will continue with it. Since the prices are getting a little closer I see myself possibly buying a FL vehicle before long-perhaps the T-34. I am trying to stick mostly with one range due to cost-AWI, but I like the detail so much that I buy at least one from all ranges and even from subranges (the different nations in the Napoleonic line). Their products are all so tempting.

Great points 6th Wisconsin and Sammy. I'm so hooked on FL Crusaders that it would be an easy transition to FL WWII (especially since the price points sure seem to be getting close)-and the 'early war' vehicles (PKWIII etc...) are sooooo tempting {sm4}
