Newbie here, my first post. (2 Viewers)

Hi,

I have to say you all seem like a great band of men here, i have lurked alot the past few weeks as i have only just started my K&C collection. Im from england and i have collected 1/6th models for the last 5 years, mostly hot toys. I have tried to collect k&c D-Day and stick to just one specific area, but i have ordered most of the new Raf Series and the new hawker plane.I also managed to pick up AK17 (checkpoint) for a reasonable price, so i ordered some more africa korp models to go with it. I think im well and truelly hooked now and the market garden series are getting very tempting.

i look forward to joining in on some threads and thats pretty much it about me.

cheers

G'day Mate......its like being a kid in a toy shop all over again, but with more than loose change in ya pocket :D. Welcome ;)

Valhalla i was thinking of going to the Birmingham show next Sunday, i joined a facebook group and tried asking a few members about it but they did not get back to me. What is it like, have you been before? If it is worth the two hour drive i might turn up, even better i might bribe my girlfriend to drive haha. I might find the jeep and the lovat command set, Do they have stalls with models forsale or is it just a preview show?

cheers

The Birmingham sow is great i try to go most years as long as im not working  Theres plenty of stall there selling just about all the major brands & you find some old retied sets from time to time aswell!!! Its just like a smaller version of the London show really but still with enough stalls to keep you busy for a few hours

Hi Flynn,

Welcome to the forum ! :)

I`ll have to convert you to collecting Napoleonics.!:D

Best wishes Mark.

I couldn't have put it better. My lovely wife tolerates it-with ah few 'eye rolls' every now and then-lol.

My ex felt the same-"Why do you need another book on Napoleon's invasion of Russia?" Haven't they ever felt passionate about anything? Besides, we could be doing far worse things.

Dear Flynn:

Welcome! I have been collecting for the most part only K&C sets since 1999. You will enjoy the K&C line. Good luck! "Iron Brigade" / Gary in USA
