I was really pleased to find this forum as this is a new area of the miniature world for me. Coming from the sculpting/painting side of things the whole Russian collectibles are new to me. However, I was able to obtain a number of absolutely stunning pieces but I am not sure exactly what I’ve got.

There seems to be a few different manufacturers/studios mixed in, but from what I’ve gathered so far they are mostly “Arseniev Studio” and or Aeroart pieces, both of which if I understand it correctly are part of the St. Petersburg collection. Most of them have similar “stamps” under the bases which I’m assuming tells where they came from, but I do not know how to decipher the symbols or whom the signatures/initials belong to. Some are white with black lettering and others have blue background. Is there an online resource to use to identify these pieces?

I have intentions to sell some of these pieces but they did not come with boxes or paper work, and I do not know their exact worth.

Attached are some pictures of the pieces. The pictures are not very good but should be good enough to see what they are, at least I hope so! I will post better pictures if required.

I would appreciate any and all help to identify what I’ve got!!

Thanks in advance!

I’m having difficulties attaching images to the thread. I’ve attached some links below which hopefully works!

These are not coming out as hyperlinks. You need to copy and paste each link.

Hi Anders,
I sent you an IM. You have some amazing pieces there. I can assist you with identifying them. I am familiar with all of them and their studios of origin. I'm ready to buy.
Thanks,
Joe

These are some exceptional pieces. Feel free to send me a list with the prices. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum, Anders! Haven't seen you since the demise of Timelines. Are you working on anything these days?

Prost!
Brad

Great stuff Anders quite a collection - would be interested if you decide to put up any for sale

Thanks everyone! I’ve received some really good help so far which is very much appreciated.

Brad, good to see you here!! I have done a few pieces here and there, but nothing consistent lately. Maybe one of these days I’ll get back into it. How about you!?

Painting my toy soldiers, and buying more kits and castings. Got together with Scott Hershbell and Dennis Sozna over the weekend for a meetup; I don't know if you remember them. We're also working on staging the show online this year, then it's back to live next year.

Prost!
Brad

I'm very interested in the Indian ceremonial elephant and possibly one of the chariots.

Kind of puts my humble painting efforts to shame! Glad you acquired the collection . . . enjoy!

Pieces are outstanding, better than anything i've been able to acquire. Maybe contact Lang who comments on this thread; he has figures of this caliber and would know what they go for.
Your work is very nice also.
