They are identical in the Fur Trade series and therefore I blend both together. The Gold Rush series will no doubt be the same. Robin.
Quite happy to mix JJD and K&C Romans and TG Romans. Not so much First Legion as they're a tad smaller.
JJD Napoleonics and Britains Naps a little difference but still just about acceptable. Some TG, such as KGL, though I always feel like I need to saw off some of the height of their Shako's. Otherwise Silesian's fine though, but be careful as early ones much larger as are TCS and not mixable. Kronprinz bridges the slight gap between First Legion and Britains, and so a very useful range, especially with their different heads to mix up a display.
What is the price, pleaseHi, Lee of Sheffield Miniatures here, Julie let me know about a possible base for the new Gold Rush figures, so i have put in some time and come up with the following which i will be releasing shortly. Let me know if that would suit the range ? This is 2 bases joined together to make a base, just under 2 feet long and 1 foot wide. Thanks. Lee.
I am lucky for once living in the UK. My bases being shipped this week. And finally I got the William Britain Nile Gun Boat base from Sheffield Miniatures (JG Miniatures). I bought the boat in early 2011 just as I moved to New Zealand but never got around to the base until now. I just need a display case and I am done. Although boat is one side of the world and base the other!Bases are up for pre-order now in the Upcoming Releases!
These bases look fantastic - love the rocks in the stream bed.

Had the same thought. Wondered if this method of prospecting was accurate or just fiction for the movie. Then I read Mark Twain's account of his prospecting days in Roughing It and he described the same process. The new figures remind me of the grizzled prospector in 'All Gold Canyon', my favourite story from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.
