Next KC Limited Edition (poll) (2 Viewers)

I Think the next, or one of the next SL's will be the Storch, limited numbers and super interest. The Storch could never be a general release item due to cost and aparent production limitations. The problem will be distribution and how to allow collectors to get first shot ahead of investor-speculators.

I got the impression the first Warbird (Rommel's Storch) would be produced in limited quantities to test the market so why not release it as a strictly limited to generate even more extra interest? If you're only planning to make a couple hundred of them that sure sounds strictly limited to me.

On the subject of Tigers, Andy and I were talking last week about this and that and I think I remember him saying he was Tigered out and felt there were enough Tigers on the market right now so I don't expect to see any released by K&C anytime soon. Then again, Andy once told me he would never produce warbirds again and look how that turned out :p .

And don't forget, he said he would never make World War I :D

Andrew, what do you have to say for yourself? :p

Maybe Andy has his fingers crossed behind his back when he talks to you dealers.;) Besides, how can a toy soldier company sell WWII and NOT have a Tiger I somewhere (like Tunisia:) ) in it's line-up.

We should have a limited edition World War I TANK !

That would be great. ;)

And, as my old sweet old grandmother once told me when I was but an itty-bitty babe, on the front porch whilst she was gently rocking me to sleep in her loving caring arms as the sun set gently in the western sky with a pinkish-blue glow, "Michael," she said, "remember to never say never, it could come back and bite you on your butt, now go to sleep."

Ron-
Make some suggestions and maybe Brad can set it up. I would like to see a set of German WWI aces at some point.

Doug (Combat) asked me to post the following photos of what a Tunisian Tiger and a Captured T 34 might look like. Great photos. I'm partial to the idea of the T 34

In 1991, Andy released a set of WWI Aces including Allied Aces Mannock and McCudden and German Aces von Richtoven and Immelman.

On our new World War I poll - I think we should look at:

1) German Tank
2) English Tank
3) Trench Soldiers (German, English, French and American)
4) Turkish Troops
5) Large Artillery
6) Calvary ?

Those are my thoughts.................:D

Gentlemen,

Remember that Andy is doing 1914 era WWI troops, so tanks are out of the question, heavy duty trench warfare is still a year away, Gallipoli (Churchll's folly) is yet to occur, and the Americans are a few years from entering the war, limiting the possibilities from your list to 5) large artillery and 6) Cavalry.

Louis

Well that takes all the fun out of it...hahaha

How about the Kaiser ?? and some dead French Men - there was plenty of those in 1914. :D

What about:

LAWRENCE, LAWRENCE, LAWRENCE!!!

Did anyone see the movie "Volunteers" - Tom Hanks & John Candy ???

How about a Napoleonic Imperial Artillery Drive train?:) PPPleeeeaaaaaaaaase?
Pretty Please?:) :) :) :)
