Thats right,

Whatever happened to the Storch? Is it in the K&C airplane graveyard or is it going to be produced? Enquiring minds would like to know.

I think that Andy wasn't happy with the factory making the prototype so I believe he's still looking or evaluating factories that can meet his requirements.
 
I was at a local hobby store and they had tons of C-21 1/18 scale warbirds. What strike me most was the TBF Avenger...which is almost the same size as the 1/30 scale C-47 I recently sold. These planes are made of hard plastic and metal. Forget about the pilot figures but the plane itself is great and weathering is fantastic.

I wonder why Andy is sticking to the wood models? Pacific Aircraft here in Scottsdale are making same wooden planes (and so is Wood Wings) that now sport clear canopies and sell about the same price as the KC Limited Edition Warbirds featured in this forum.

The C-21 1/18 cost $54...not bad with the details you can expect from the real aircraft.

BTW, these planes are made in China. I'm sure Andy one time or the other may have rub shoulders with C-21 suppliers/manufacturer at the Kowloon side of HK.

Maybe if we Treefrogers all write to C-21, they may listen to our request. As a starter I will ask for a Storch, L4 Grasshopper, C-47, and a Horsa Glider.

thanks Brad and Louis. Pierre,i'm not sure.i e-mailed k&c and asked to be put on the list to order a me110 and in winter if they had and if not i'd pay extra.
when they e-mailed back said i was set to get it in winter,didn't notice a price increase,so probably one of the planned sets
 
:( Beautiful Airplanes, but too expensive for me! I'll have to pass on these Planes! I'll have to go with 21st Century Airplanes for around $20.00US, for Now!
 
I'll wait for the more numerous releases too.My defence budget goes only so far.At the moement i'm financing the breakout in Normandy,Montys defence against Rommel,my American troops need more armour in Bastogne,i have just spiked the Russian Guns at Balaclava,and i am planning an Airborne attack at a little known town of Arnhem in September.I am also building up a WW1 German army to invade Belgium.So i have to call a halt somewhere:)

I see all these pictures of pilots and personnel next to the soon to be released warbird planes. Are these figures new and soon to be released or are they older figures that are retired?

I haven't seen any pilots in this thread but I know in others I've seen they're retired figures (from the polystone ME 109) or Del Prado figures.
 
I wish my defense budget would let me acquire one of those limited edition aircrafts - but, when youre at war.......;)

Hopefully, Andy will come out with some nice mass production items we all can afford and enjoy.
 
For everybody's information, the FWs are all sold out. However, there are still some left of the Hawker Typhoons so if you're interested in buying one I wouldn't delay.

I expect mine to arrive tomorrow :)
