Next "Limited Edition Warbirds" (2 Viewers)

Chuck,

Spoke to home office. With Andy away, they don't know what the color schemes are exactly. My guess is that the one of the schemes will be the same as the one that came out in March. Didn't Andy say there would be a winter one? As far as the third, no ideas.

I will follow up with him in a week or so.

BTW, there is one left of each Typhoon so if you're interested....

There are 3 versions of the ME110. Winter, another called "Sharks Mouth" which we saw at the symposium in a book and S9 1C is the last version. There are no images of the 3 yet.

The winter version is sold out and there are still some left of the other 2.

I got my FW 190 today with the Snake camoflage. It is totally awesome! By the way, I am awaiting delivery on a very old circa 1991 production Chance-Vaught F4U Corsair in the WWII U.S. Navy markings of a 16 kill ace. I have been after one of the original wood Corsairs for around 8 years, so this one is heavily anticipated.

I just received my Typhoon today in 1943 markings and it's just superb. Obviously, my favorite part of my K & C collection, hands down.

I know they are a bit expensive, but the new Warbirds are superb. In my opinion worth every penny. I will be getting one of every aircraft offered for sale, and if you have any interest in airpower, I could not recommend them more highly.

I Think I May Buy One. The The Fw 190 Is Worth A Few Hours Of Overtime.

Chuck,

This is the photo I received from King and Country of one of the Hawker Typhoon. I will try to post a better photo.

King and Country also supplied this: this early Typhoon model has the unique “car-door” type canopy and is in typical 1943-style camouflage complete with underwing black and white recognition stripes. It is in the personal markings of Squadron Leader Roland “Bee” Beaumont of 609 Squadron. Beaumont was a leading R.A.F. ace who by 1943 had also personally destroyed no less than 25 enemy trains in ground attack missions over France.

I chose this one over the other Typhoon because I had actually ordered way over a year ago a Tempest from another company in Normandy color piloted by Squadron Leader Beaumont, believe it or not. Unfortunately, the plane never arrived and when I saw that this was Beaumont's plane, I wanted it.

Here is the one ordered by Louis. As supplied by King and Country, it's a FW190 is in the distinctive “snake” markings of Jagdgeschwader 10 stationed at Parchim Airfield in Germany in the Autumn of 1944.

Beautiful plane. However, there's only so much in the "defense budget."

Perhaps Louis can send me a better photo for posting.

I've been informed the FW 190s are all gone but there may be one of the Hawkers left. I'd email right now if interested.

thanks brad, they look awesome, great addition to any collection......i can't wait!!!!!!

Are there any pictures of the ME110s that are still available?

Received the Hawker Typhoon today and whoa daddy-o is it sweet. I wonder how many man hours it takes to construct one.

Have a great day

I don't have access to photos of the new ME110's, but I can e-mail Brad a photo of the Afrika Corps version of the ME110 (same model plane, different markings) which might help.

Does any one have any details about the pilot figure standing with the WAAF in the picture posted by Jazzeum. Is this another Del Prado. When the first picture of the Typhoon was posted awhile ago (with the RAF pilot produce by Del prado) the figure has vanished from ebay in the uk so it may have stimulated the market on re-sales. Should have snapped one up at the time. I've a soft spot for the RAF as my mum was a Warrent Officer nurse. Boy do you learn to polish your school shoes right when your mums an ex WO1!

Unfortunately, I don't have any details. However, it is Del Prado and I would like to get my hands on both those figures. I've combed ebay and no luck so I'm still looking.

The WAAF is on Ebay in UK as we speak number 84 I think. Seller is a retailer called Under two flags about £15. Hope this helps.:)

If that pilot is a Del Prado, its one I've never seen (and I'm pretty sure I own all the aircraft related Del Prado figures). I think Andy might be joshing us, and that might be one of the prototypes of the new aircrew he intends to produce with the coming general production warbirds. Speaking of which, I hope he gets things squared away with that Fiesler Storch in time for the Chicago Show!

Can you (or somebody) post a link. I couldn't find a seller by that name.
