NFL 26-27 season (2 Viewers)

It would be great to see the players back up the refs as the referee union seeks a new contract.

Again, the NFL salary cap is a joke.

Kansas City signed Travis Kelce to a 3 year, $57mil contract.

Las Vegas signed Kirk Cousins to a 5 year $172mil contract.

Both teams openly admit that the contracts are written to allow for future cap “flexibility” and any contract years beyond the first year are meaningless.

Why even have a cap?

Every time I see Mel Kiper or any other “draft expert” all I can think of is a local news weather forecaster.

They both endlessly run their mouths as if they can accurately predict the future.

Yet no one ever rewinds the tape and calls them out when they are wrong.

Diana Russini lost her job because of her affair with Vrabel but I don’t see anything has happened to him. Both of them exercised questionable judgment and at the very minimum Vrabel needs to face some sanctions from the team or the NFL.

She didn't "lose her job", she resigned.

Interesting that her contract was set to expire and she hadn't yet renewed with The Athletic before this fiasco.

Regardless, I would be shocked if she weren't headed to Barstool at some point in the next year or so, if this escapade did blow up her next job.

What do you want the NFL to do to Vrabel because he had a side order going with her?

Or the Patriots?

Questionable judgement on both of their parts, idiotic really, he flushed a 19 year marriage down the toilet, hers is probably toast too, if this was the corporate world, he'd have some splain'in to do to HR, but it's not.

Someone dimed them out, whoever was snapping those pictures of them lounging in a pool was tipped off by someone.

Maybe the NFL will dock the Patriots a first round draft pick, or hire a guy for 6 million dollars to conduct an investigation so he can conclude "Both parties were generally aware that what they were doing was wrong."

Yes, she resigned but The Times (which owns The Athletic) was investigated and it’s possible there would have been repercussions.

Bad judgment by both. A massive conflict of interest for which he should be at the very least fined.

Fined for what exactly? She's a reporter, how is stepping out with a reporter a conflict of interest for an NFL coach?

Bad judgment is the understatement of the century.

Two morons.

We've had some real winners here as coaches; the previous Celtics coach was tapping the wife of one of the owners, now this imbecile is tapping a reporter.

Talk about thinking with the wrong head.

Reports are indicating her husband hired a PI, he's the one who took the compromising photos...............

I tuned into Boston sports talk radio today and sure enough, they are all over this "story", they are speculating as to the point of this affair, one of the hosts suggested she's doing it to get "scoops"....................seriously?

"So Mike, is Drake's shoulder REALLY hurt or is this just BS?"

After listening to this nonsense for 5 minutes, I changed the channel.

I DON'T CARE.

I suppose you’re right about what they can punish Vrabel for but his bad judgment does raise questions about partiality. Of course, when you and another person are having an affair, that’s the last thing you’re thinking about.

He's not called "First Round" Mike because he is a genius. Putting aside the ethics of cheating on his wife in such a public manner, it creates a big off field headache. Can't imagine his wife is thrilled. An unhappy wife is a big distraction.

Right; "First Round" Mike; aside from the AFCCG he got to with that stiff ex Miami QB in 2020 and the Super Bowl this past year with, let's face it, a terrible roster outside of an excellent QB and Diggs playing out of his mind until the playoffs started.

He's an excellent coach that connects with his players and gets all he can out of mediocre talent..............who thinks with the wrong head.

Apparently, this has been going on back to his Titans days.....................

I had heard about the Titan story. Now that they’ve killed their marriages, maybe they’ll stay together for good.

This story just ignores the underlying family issues.

There are marriages and children’s futures at stake.

No one seems to care about that, especially the NFL so long as they are in the headlines.

If they had thought of their families, particularly the children, they never would have started in the first place.
