NFL 26-27 season (1 Viewer)

Not that this deserves more comment, but Vrabel is a complete moron IMO. JC, bad decisions lead to bad outcomes. Why people just don't get divorced is beyond me. How did he not think this would eventually come out. And she is an idiot, she is a reporter, you cannot do that kind of crap. Again, what a waste of news space, but how dumb people really are. Just reinforces what I have posted for years. Stupidity reigns in a lot of different areas.

Should he lose his job over it? I don't know the answer to that, it is seemingly a dirtbag subhuman move to his wife and family, he is a public figure and once upon a time sports figures/coaches are/were role models. Unfortunately, he is not that for sure.

He may or may not lose his job over this/get fired over it, but he probably will step down on his own "to work on his relationship with his family" or some other such nonsense.

His kids are in their 20's, he met his wife in either high school or college, he was 100% thinking with the wrong head and yes, why not just get a divorce, carrying on for 6 years is nuts, some of the photos coming out are very public, no hiding what they were doing, that's for sure.

Him being away from the team on Saturday when 8 of their 11 picks will be made to attend counseling seems bizarre to me, the statement the Kraft's made is not exactly a ringing endorsement.

If anything further comes out over this (and it probably will), he's a goner.

The KC Chiefs fired an assistant coach yesterday for domestic violence, battery on a child.....................so no discussion about that then huh?

McVay drafted that stiff QB from Alabama tonight, a complete head scratcher of a pick.

They are on the doorstep of getting to a SB in 2026, why not draft a player that can fill a need, like for example in that swiss cheese of a secondary that Sam "Good for you you complete stiff, you won a SB" Darnold shredded in the NFCCG.

Maybe 97 year old Stafford is on his last legs, he won the MVP this year, so what gives.

Again, a complete head scratcher of a pick.
Yes, that one is hard to understand. The Rams are in win now mode and they pick a guy who MIGHT help them win five years from now or not. McVay did not look happy at the press conference. Hardly said a word.

He could have been doing that to show Stafford he's got his back.

It's like when the Patriots used a draft pick on Jimmy G when they had Brady, that pissed Brady off, he won them 1.5 games when Brady was serving his 4 game suspension until he got hurt, then they traded him away and got nothing in return.

The Rams are right there with Seattle as SB contenders, maybe use that pick on someone who can help you now.

Is it true this is the only the second 1st round pick the Rams have had in the past 11 years; their run of success in that time just proves you don't need high draft picks to win year after year.

George:

Unfortunately nobody cares when an NFL team does the right thing especially if it sacrifices winning.

I wish the Niners were more like the Chiefs. KC cut ties with next “greatest head coach” Eric Bieniemy when all of his cowardly assaults on women came to light. SF fans were outraged on talk radio when all of this happened but when rumors started about him joining the 49ers’ staff all was forgiven.

It was pathetic.

The Steelers drafting Eli Heidenreich from the Naval Academy was the highlight of the draft.

ESPN panned the crowd when he was announced and they pointed out how even Ravens fans cheered.

My other favorite draft moment was the day after when Caleb Downs had his press conference.

He said that ever since he was a kid he had hoped that that the Cowboys drafted him.

Was it the great cultural mix? Was it the food? Was it the fan base? Was it the rich franchise history?

At his press conference he said he wanted to play for the Cowboys because Texas has no state income tax.

These players don’t want to play for our home team, they want money and nothing less wherever that might be.

a no state income tax draft was his childhood dream?

lol...too funny...smart guy though...

glad the Houston Texans didn't get him...

So there will be 10 international games this year; rumor has it the NFL is pushing for 16 next year, that's one per week.

In addition to games on Thursday, Sunday and Monday night, there are games on Wednesday too.

So glad the NFL is ultra concerned with player safety, imagine 16 international games.

There will also be a record number of games this year on Peacock, Prime and Netflix as well; I don't have subscriptions for any of those, so I'm SOL.

Like the NFL gives a sh#t.

Like MLB. That's the trend-chasing overseas revenue. Though baseball and football will never be as popular as soccer, there's more money to be made than loss, so this is what we have to put up with.

George, do what I did the last time there was a baseball strike-seek out Legion games, scholastic and college games. For football, Pop Warner leagues, high school games. At least the players are there to play, not to worry about their earning power.

Prost!
Brad
