NFL 26-27 season (4 Viewers)

"Bubble" Vrabel is sinking in quicksand. All he had to say is that he screwed up and apologize. But he is trying to finesse his way out of this and making it worse every day. Sometimes the aftermath is worse than the act.
The main reason why this is such a "story" to begin with is because the news broke during a slow news cycle, had it broken during the season, it would be less of a "story", it's mainly a "story" for sports radio talk to fill air time, with the Celtics and Bruins both in the playoffs, you'd think that would be of interest here, but this "story" is all people want to talk about.

It’s kind of no one’s fvcking business if you ask me.

They are not elected officials.

They are not guarding classified material.

No crimes were committed.

Nationally, it's a "story" for one reason and one reason only; it involves the organization everyone loves to hate, the Patriots.

What do you propose the NFL or the Patriots do to Vrabel; put him up against a wall and have a firing squad finish him off?

If this same "story" involved the coach of the Panthers, Browns, Raiders, Vikings, Bengals, Colts, Cardinals, Bucs, Saints, Falcons, Redskins, Ravens, Dolphins, Chargers, Steelers, Bills, Texans, Titans, Giants, Eagles, Lions, Packers, Rams, 49ers, Seahawks, Cowboys, Bears, Broncos, Chiefs, Jags or Jets, no one would give sh@t.

I thought his statement was fine. He said he’s had some difficult conversations with his wife, team, etc. I don’t think he needs to go beyond that as it’s basically a private matter between him and his family. I’m sure he’s damaged the trust between him and his wife and hopefully they can rebuild it, if not for their sake, then for their childrens’ sake.
