They are AuxillaThey are Great wish I could buy all, but none of the red shield and clothing so as to match current displays, have 5 Romans displays don't want another, be nice to see new poses in the earlier Rome range
I agree. I wish FL would release additional Minerva or their original Praetorians (not the black ones). Im on the fence with these aux. I like aux being released just wish the color choice was a bit different. Not a fan of the blue since it was highly unlikely. They are Great wish I could buy all, but none of the red shield and clothing so as to match current displays, have 5 Romans displays don't want another, be nice to see new poses in the earlier Rome range
Auxilla wore blue or green if from Germania per se. They would be attached to legionary cohorts and field armies constantly.I agree. Very unlikely, the dye was harder to come across and more expensive.Auxilla wore blue or green if from Germania per se. They would be attached to legionary cohorts and field armies constantly.
Ha ha ha you are kiddingVery unlikely, the dye was harder to come across and more expensive.
Hahaha, do better research and look at the blues. The blue you are referring to is a white washed blue. The blue on these are not white washed. Get over yourself. Im not saying you are wrong I'm saying it is unlikely and please provide me any proof of color of a Tunic that you have because as far as I know there are none and this is a debate to this day. My logic is based on the shade of blue that is portrayed here and the cost of that dye. So settle down keyboard warrior.Ha ha ha you are kidding
Only purple was expensive given where it was harvested from. I read classic’s they wore Blue or Green if Germanic, but it’s only the Roman sources saying such.

You do realise they are releasing the Ferdinand also? So there’ will be two versions. A ‘43 and later ‘44 upgrade. The photos were posted of both on here last year. What a beast but pricey nearly $700AUD, but I have always wanted one, be hard not to pre-order it will sell fast I reckon.
This model has many features including a 4 figure upcoming crew set on the model and in the hatches. Though the new crew figures can really work with any tanks for the most part, they were designed with the Elephant/Ferdinand in mind.
The model is made from a mixed media (resin, metal, plastic, brass, photo etch, etc...)
Features:
- Four Opening/Closing Hatches
- Raising/Lowering Gun Barrel
- Incredible Camo Paint Scheme
- Tow Cables
They crew will be sold separate I gather ??
What’s funny?
Prove it with a credible source as opposed to Poncán hubris.
It’s well documented the colours they used. For centuries. One’s opinion / imbecilic logic doesn’t matter. Only the facts.
Some legions even wore blue also. The blue shade as in the first legion colour used is entirely correct. Whining about an excellent release of something both above one’s skillset either to create or have any knowledge of the origin is rather pathetic.
Caligula’s German detachment wore Green, as common with Germanic units.
Legions undyed, Red, or deep blue.
They are wearing Gallic cloaks, Blue tunic is common for Gallic units. A detail of significance as to their origin and service under the Principate. I’m with Suetonius on facts not guess work. Completely went over someone who is historically illiterates head.
Kudos to Matt Pavone on a quite excellent release.
Nihil est incertius vulgo, nihil obscurius opinione publica. Falsus in uno, falsus
lol, what I find funny is how easily you get triggered. I can only imagine you sitting at your computer getting all fired up. Words such as pathetic, illiterate really shows your character. If you read what I had put I said that you may not be wrongWhat’s funny?
