Was flicking through Ronald Embleton's, Hadrian's Wall in the days of the Romans, which gave me inspiration for this.

Could really do with some more Romano-British civilians like this one Andy !

Nice one Steve, and a bit of a different scene. Liking that tower and the figures look great. Was planning a little scene with one of my own towers.

North of the wall equals " dangerous country"
great diorama and yes more civilians would be more than welcome for any era

Cheers Guy !

Yes to the Romans their handful of Forts North of the Wall may well of been, whether the Wall being Hadrian's or the further North, Antonine Wall depending on the era. To those there, it would of been similar in many ways to settler's and troops posted to the frontier in the early days of the exploration and settlement of America. Perhaps they called it something like "Indian Country" ! {sm4}

Hi Damian

That sounds great and hopefully you'll share some pics with us, when done which I'm sure will look the business !?

Mine is really just a quick set up scene with the 3D Printed Watchtower, so hasn't required a lot of my time like yours will have !

Steve

Great Roman Watchtower; it would also be accurate for the Rhine or Danube Limes. The railings and roof are very well done.
