Ok guys, there has been lots of the usual BS flying around of late so for the love of god lets bring the fun back, to this end I humbly present the Dispatches thread a tad early...for purposes of morale!:wink2:

So what can we expect in Nov/Dec do we think ? We've had a superb wave of US and German winter releases already, what else may K&C have up their sleeve and what are you hoping for ???

Fire away guys!:smile2:

Rob

Yes, 8th Army stuff would be good along with a new Hanomag Halftrack done in 3 versions, Bulge, Normandy and AK with the AK version coming out first...

It's about time Rob. where have you been ^&confuse Oh, sorry, only October 23 ^&grin

I have no inkling of what November may bring, maybe some Light Horse (just looking at November 2011). Some additions to the Lawrence line would be nice. I have the Lawrence figure and like it quite a bit.

I think as November was the release for the first arnhem figures back in 2007 we will see some of the recently announced designs.

I would think as a hanomag was mentioned one will come sooner rather than later but, would expect a grey variant to be high on the production lists.

Other than that I will wait and see what comes. perhaps, a sturmtiger??

Am looking forward to an 8th army and Normandy version of this, am looking forward to seeing how the new Desert version sits next to the older one which is a lovely set.

Hi Rob, glad to see you back posting in a timely manner:) but as far as the Nov. releases and it seems that WWII had a ton of releases for Chicago, so I wonder if K&C will be doing any Civil War this month/year?? my son and I collect this line but it seems to have really taken a back seat for awhile, hope to see more in the future...Sammy

I don't care much for WW2 but I was recently listening to BBC Radio 4 (I'm so terribly bourgeois, it causes me pain) and was made aware of an eccentric participant I was hitherto unaware of.

"Mad Jack" Churchill seemed to be a bit of a hoot, so much so that even a confirmed 39-45 Philistine like myself may be charmed into procuring a depicition of "Mad Jack" dispatching a poor unfortunate with a longbow.

Has he been discussed more widely on these pages?

PS. My post count reads '1' but I have previously posted, in a thread discussing prices, which now seems to have performed a Lord Lucanesque dematerialization rendering all prior posts null and void.

Were there not king tigers with the porsche tuurett at arnhem? Maybe we could see one of these in the newer larger scale. And oh yes. How about some german western front falschirmjager for 1944-45. Lets go for it andy.

Since K&C are retireing so much of their ACW figures I would like to see them come out with pieces to replace the ones they are ending. In other words a nice full line of figures of the ACW. Hve at it guys.:smile2::wink2:

Hi Rob,

good to see you got the November releases thread going :smile2:
Was about to contact you with a friendly reminder.
Once the 20's of a month are up, I am sure that a lot of forum members pay attention to an "upcoming dispatches" thread

I wonder if there might be a chance for some new releases in the Crimean War range?
Since it was announced that K&C plan to continue the line, started exclusively by K&C UK, it would be nice to get an idea what's in the works before the year is over.

Cheers!

Konrad

Hi Sammy, yes mate I'd like to see more ACW, the mounted Rebs Andy did before were just splendid, got to say I find the ACW absolutely fascinating even though I have Khaki running through my veins:wink2:

Well welcome to the forum again anyway!{sm4}

Yes I've heard about the ' other' Mr Churchill again just recently, it may even have been on BBC R4 (I like to listen to John Humphreys interrupting ...I mean interviewing politicians) Would be an interesting figure indeed. I read an obituary some years back of a WW2 vet who had a job in the city. Each night he would catch the train home down in the country. To the amazement of the other passengers he would stand up and hurl his hat, umbrella and briefcase out of the train window of the moving train and then sit down again. They were of course unaware that it as at the same spot every night which happened to be his back garden, not sure if that was Mr Churchill or not though.

All I want is 1914 French artillery and cavalry. -- Al

Sounds good Al, any Brit artillery would also see me purchase that as a stand alone set.

FJ's are always popular aren't they, K&C have made many over the years, just love the Crete versions.

I am just going to keep up my running and say more American Civil War again as I have done in every past dispatch post since I joined haha.

Hi Konrad,

Thanks mate, I hope folk enjoy these threads as they are designed to just people chatting about this hobby we love.

Some more Crimean range releases would be very interesting to see, I wonder if there may be some examples in London

Cheers

Agreed!! Need Civil war. I really would like to see artillery pieces. It is the only era there are no heavy support weapons for.

Also, any future warbirds up and coming?

Ken
