I haven't got all of the second (tropical) wave of FJs, as a fair few are repaints and I suspect there wil be others like me. This may have led to a luke warm reception when this second wave was released.
I also suspect that Normandy FJs, or winter FJs may have faired a little better.

I agree with this - I bought the new poses from last year's "tropical" batch but I gave a miss to the repaints. I think a lot of collectors would have liked to have seen Normandy FJs instead of more Italian Front versions.
But it does look like this range has gone the way of the dodo now.

I am not optimistic about the future of the British Paras after the next wave but i do think there might be some Go Commando in the future.
It would be new and different.

Mind you, the judge said if I did it again in a public place, I'd be looking at a spell inside.

Will we ever do FJ’s again? Of course we will but we’ve got other ideas coming out so it’s nice to ring the changes.

Is this a sign that K&C is fed up with other Paras? Again, no way as you will see in coming months…especially ARNHEM!!!

So set your minds at ease and…relax a little.

I didn't say the Germans won't sell Wayne,all I'm saying is that next year we will get BRITISH,CANADIAN and maybe AMERICAN troops for two of the most famous battles of WW2,something most of us want!;)

Brad,i don't want to needle anyone,however I do want and want others to be able to have a thread talking about their chosen subject without someone ramming their Nazi collection down their throat all the time,it really is tiresome.

Very true, the author wondered what German subjects would replace the recently retired Fallschirmjagers.

Some how we got dragged into tedious discussions about Commandos, British Paras, D-Day Brits and............Cricket :eek:

So lets just get this straight.Its a thread about German Paratroopers,but its not ok to mention British Paratroopers.But its ok to mention Submarines?.If you've seen a sub dropped by parachute Wayne,time to put down the fosters i think.
