Well done mate, good to see you use a backdrop......the whole set up has come along nicely, if you are interested try ''PICASA 3'' photo editing suite, it allows you to do many things like cropping, different colour tones and much more, it's a free download as well, plus I use Photobucket as well for resizing...the combination of both can enhance your photos to great effect.

This is a great dio Tom. I love the way it is built. Lot's going on everywhere, that's how a dio should be .
I can spot an expensive column of AFV's on the road to Germany.
guy:)

The fruits of your labor mate, that was almost as enjoyable as the footy today almost brilliant brilliant brilliant.

That is one large set up Tom! Really great scene. Love all the US armor. I like the way you've positioned the different soldiers around. Well done.

Wonderful dio! The detailing in the scenery really sets up the whole story. The stream and bridges are really eye catching. Great job and thanks for posting. :salute:: Chris

Beautiful images Tom. I really like the bright day time color; a nice deviation from a lot of the grey overcast images many of us tend to use for the WWII shots (myself included). I esp. like the bridge and water. You've got an excellent collection of US troops and vehicles.

Your setting and color reminds me of this shot I took last month. :salute:: Great stuff!

Thanks mate and yeah, i'll give that software a go as I want to include more figures with bases in my future dio's.

Thanks Guy, yes, a very expensive column of armour and I was very careful in setting it all up and then putting it all away again! I wanted to have a bit going on but at the same time not overdo it with troops, vehicles, artillery, AT guns etc.

Cheers mate and I know I can never beat an Eagles game!

Thanks Duke, it took a while to position the troops into believable poses. I actually wish I had a better backdrop or someway of creating an allusion that the railway and road continues. A railway tunnel would have been perfect so perhaps that's what I will do on my next dio project.

A large and beautiful setup.

Thanks mate.

Thanks to all the likers as well and here's a few more pic's that didn't make the first cut.
