Hi Guys,

We are going to hold King & Country's Annual Event at our shop in Hong Kong in May. This stunning 'RAMELLE' display will be exhibited at the Event evening. We hope some of you will be there and you will see the whole diorama in its entirety.

Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy

P.S. Look out for another picture of the display tomorrow.

As usual Gordon has excelled himself. The bridge with surrounding buildings are magic. The figures bring it to life. Robin.

Thanks Robin for your kind words... This spectacular diorama was actually built by our British friend David Marshall from a design by yours truly...Wait till you see the follow up photos!
With best wishes,
Andy.

Outstanding. Truly a spectacular diorama. Can’t wait to see it occupied by both America and German figures.

What a great set up ! Some one with a lot of space is going to be one lucky fella !:salute::

Great looking diorama! It actually looks like a reverse of what the Saving private Ryan set was is that intentional for copyright or is the picture reversed?

Jistbthat the building aft front right was in front left during film etc😁

Great dio!

Scott

If only a portion is that spectacular, imagine the whole thing! I will keep a close watch on the forum to see when you unveil the whole dio, as well as the Hue '68 diorama! This is something not to be missed – too bad Hong Kong is on the other side of the globe for me…{sm4}

Thanks to all of you Guys who have welcomed this spectacular Diorama so enthusiastically...The next 'instalment' will appear later today ...followed up by more pix in the weeks running up to the Hong Kong Event.

One of the many joys of this Forum (Thankyou Treefrog) is being able to share projects such as this with a much wider audience around the Globe...and seeing what you guys produce as well!

All the best and happy collecting,
Andy.

Hi Guys,

As promised yesterday here is another 'shot' of one side of the "RAMELLE" diorama... This time showing almost the complete rear of the display.

Best wishes and have a great weekend!
Andy

One of the many things that draw me towards collecting K&C many 'moons' ago was their wide array of displays and stunning dios.

This new one is shaping up to be a K&C classic.:salute::

What a great looking Diorama!👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing.
I would like to come to the kc Hong Kong Day, but unfortunately that is not possible ☹️☹️. Please Andy just let the photos roll on the forum! this is what makes the hobby so fun 😁👍
I am especially interested in the Hue City diorama!🤔🤔

Clearly this master piece is one of the most complex but wonderfully done of all the displays designed and/or built by K&C and company.
As was stated by Robin, endless possibilities.

I hope they post a video of the event for those of us on the other side of the planet.

WOW!!!!{eek3}{eek3} David is such a monster talent and Andy's design ain't too shabby either.
What a wonderful creative team. Thank you Andy for sharing the photos of this amazing project. I can't wait to see more photos of it.
It is a brilliant piece from conception to execution.

Many thanks Joe...David is a great guy to work with, as is my brother Gordon. Both guys are incredibly talented at what they do and each has their own unique, distinctive style.
It's a pleasure and delight to see my 2-dimensional plans and sketches turned into 3-dimensional reality...albeit in miniature!

I think all three of us are 'frustrated' movie set designers.

More exciting pix next week.
have a terrific weekend,
Andy.
