Does anyone know if the Opel Flakwagon is available for order or pre-order here? I don't see it under Luftwaffe or Upcoming releases? Did it come out? I'm assuming I didn't miss it and the site just hasn't been updated.

Anyone have this yet? If so can you please post some pics.

That link didn't work. Try this one.

I talked to Dave at Treefrog and they have several in stock. You can call them or email dave@treefrogtreasures.com

For some reason it didn't show up on the K & C section. However, if you go to time period, you can find it. I will mention this anomaly to Shannon.

Guys...

Thanks for that. That means it will come away. An interesting thought.

I haven't seen the model in person but from what George/Warrior says it seems unlikey the gun could be displayed by itself as it would not have a base, but some peg at its base.

OZDigger....

I was asked by a collector if it was loose as they wanted some flak guns built into an open top bunker and thought some would know. I did think it may come loose with struts but, it will be easy enough to get of now knowing the actual gun is seperate from the base as you would always be worrying about the damage to the gun.

I expect to be converting this set next month possibly september so, will show the results when I start it.

Thanks for the info
Mitch

Thanks George.

You're welcome. One of my customers is making a seperate stand for it by kit bashing a model kit and he will be using it atop the K & C Normandy pillbox, an interesting idea he's come up with, I asked him to send along pictures and he said he would.

He bought one of the nice Build A Rama camo nets and has it partially draped over the back of the maultier to cover up the build in base, another nice idea so he can use that in a diorama without the flak gun on the rear deck.

Some interesting variations.........

Warrior....

The possibilities are endless as long as you don't mind converting the truck. I think it will look better with the whole thing removed and filled and seats put in or cargo but, everyone to their own
