Carlos, I couldn't take many pictures at the Figarti lunch with a crutch in each hand but when I saw you snapping away I knew I didn't need to worry. Excellent work as usual! Thanks for sharing them on the forum.

Terry,

Thanks very much for identifying the forum members.

I think this is the first clear shot of Brad so far.

There is a better picture your goodself in another post.

Best Regards, Raymond.:)

Terrific collection of photos thanks for sharing. Those CS pieces are super especially the boat and vehicles, in a perfect world I'd have them all! Those USN figures and engineers removing beach obstacles are fresh poses and are really cool. Question for my U.S. Army experts. I noticed in the halftrack that some of the troopers are wearing camouflage smocks. I thought only Marines in the Pacific used those. Is this correct?

Cheers

I am no expert on this stuff but I know The US Army had camo uniforms on some troops early in the Normandy campaign. The camo fell out of use because of the similarity to SS camo and the difficulties that resulted in rapid ID's on the battlefield. -- lancer
