Well,
I've got as far as cleaning up, sticking on limbs n' stuff, little bit of filling and filing and have some bits primed, so yep started, but nothing pretty yet.
Just a thought, I've seen the Gatling gun crews painted up with the standard red infantry tunics, and this is the way I'd prefer to go, but would these have been operated by infantry or would they solely have been operated by artillery? Photos from the late 1800's seem to be a little thin on the ground

I'l have to have a think re the gun itself as well. Most gloss painted gatlings I've seen seem to be sploshed with a generous amount of grey. Just wondered up this was 'The Army Way', or whether some bits were retained in their wood finish....
