The new Toy soldier magazine shows Collector Showcases newest announcement, Panzer Lehr figures. Infantry shown, Nebelwerfer team and a R75 motorcycle. The look very impressive.

Sounds interesting looking forward to some pics and words from Brian.

Here is a pic. Sorry about the quality. I had to take one with my camera because for some odd reason I couldn't copy the image.

Agree Wayne, the Nebelwerfer has sadly been missing in the hobby for such a high profile weapon. This should sell well. Cheers, Robin.

Thanks for posting I was looking forward to seeing the pictures. I don't have any CS, what are the figures like?

Not really sure that doing the Panzer Lehr would make me want to buy a set of figures per se as the only difference in kit was the divisional emblem for the AFV's et al.

The nebelwerfer is very interesting and something I have been asking manufacturers from HB to TG and everyone in between to release.

Panzer Lehr infantry wore a unique uniform during the Normandy campaign, the jacket being cut in a similar pattern to the black uniform worn by panzer crews.

I could n't quite work out from the photos above, whether any of the figures were wearing this gear, as opposed to the standard German 1944 infantry uniform. Also, by 1944 jackboots had been generally replaced by ankle boots to save leather.

most of the works on the PL also show that this was not the case and, the division was at that stage a hotch potch of uniforms. Most of the divisional combat pictures show this clearly. Even the easily reconisable divisional emblem on the shoulder tabs of the troops was not present on all the men in the division.

It will be interesting to see how CS develops this unit

Seem to remember you already have a Winter Nebelwerfer in your collection, not sure where you found it, was it HB? cheers, Robin.

Definitely like th Nebelwerfer. Hopefully TCS will make a winter version as well. Armoured car looks good too.

Upon reviewing my collection of Normandy Germans I discovered some holes. A 222, motorcycle/sidecar and Nebelwerfer.........looking forward to these releases. ^&cool

HB made one years ago and it went fast. I expect this to go as quickly. Get yours asap! OOPS maybe Patriot. Either way it was gone as it came in. Too fast!

Panzer Lehr, makes me think of an empty tank.....

Couldn't tell, but do the shoulder boards have the L on it?
