PanzerAce1944 Meets Andy C. Nielson at Kingsx (1 Viewer)

Thompyt,

I am confused by your comment :
"I can see why the Arnhem sets were short lived. There isn't as much desire for British figures. I would also think the geography of where these were designed and built would make a difference. Wasn't there an European colony in the are a while ago? Russians may or not be short lived, yet one must give it a chance to see what does happen. The Arnhem figures were done, and I gather did not do as well."

The thread seems to be mainly about Russians and Stukas and I must have missed the Arnhem references. Arnhem is still going as far as I am aware. Whilst there may not be much demand for British figures in El Paso be assured there is elsewhere. For example I sell far more Arnhem than I sell Alamo or American Rev which would not be a surprise. Your reference to geography of where something was designed and built would make a difference does not make sense. K&C has done American Revolution, ACW, and The Alamo ; CS based in Texas produces Napoleonics and John Jenkins has produced many North American items. The location of design makes very little difference. An obvious exception would be Streets of HK and Imperial China by K&C which I doubt they would produce if they were located in UK.

Regards
Brett

My points were made in regards to Mitches complaints. I agree geographical locality is where certain sets are sold. Britain - More apt to buy Brit figures. US for Civil War. As for design location, I was referring to Hong Kong as a former British Colony (tounge in cheek). Mitch seems to hold a negative attitude to anything but his own ideas. A nay-sayer per se', even if it has been proven correct. The comments were referring to the Stukas and Russians, and the design materials of the Stuka.

I can see where Arnhem sets outsell Alamo or the American revolution.

Mcbowen and all others who appreciated the info concerning the product releases you are quite welcome.More than happy to share this exciting info. There has been a lot of buzz from collectors wanting a K&C Stuka. Now our wishes will soon come true. If next year is soon then so be it ! :rolleyes2:

Me like Stukas!

I think he wants to "pimp" his Stuka...you don't have to be from LA. Just watch "Yo, MTV raps" is all you have to do!:D

Hey, those pilots were daredevils. iirc, von Rudel was an Evil Kneivel on a motorcycle. I bet he would have loved a jumping stuka on the taxiway.

Yes, Exranger, that`s my Stuka too! Respecting those who think otherwise, no other Stuka version can come close to the tank buster!{sm4}

A winter Stuka I will purchase & hoping for a winter T-34. Good news from Texas!!!. Once again thanks
PA for the Info :salute::

The enormity of a 1:1 Stuka is quite amazing, if you stop and think about it for a second. I think this would be one of K&C's larger warbirds. I have the P-47 jug, and I believe a 1:30 Stuka would dwarf it.

Some nice pics and comments towards the upcoming Stuka releases. Seems the excitement is starting to brew on this plane. Let's not forget the upcoming Soviet armor either !
