Thompyt,
I am confused by your comment :
"I can see why the Arnhem sets were short lived. There isn't as much desire for British figures. I would also think the geography of where these were designed and built would make a difference. Wasn't there an European colony in the are a while ago? Russians may or not be short lived, yet one must give it a chance to see what does happen. The Arnhem figures were done, and I gather did not do as well."
The thread seems to be mainly about Russians and Stukas and I must have missed the Arnhem references. Arnhem is still going as far as I am aware. Whilst there may not be much demand for British figures in El Paso be assured there is elsewhere. For example I sell far more Arnhem than I sell Alamo or American Rev which would not be a surprise. Your reference to geography of where something was designed and built would make a difference does not make sense. K&C has done American Revolution, ACW, and The Alamo ; CS based in Texas produces Napoleonics and John Jenkins has produced many North American items. The location of design makes very little difference. An obvious exception would be Streets of HK and Imperial China by K&C which I doubt they would produce if they were located in UK.
Regards
Brett
